Preface
The correct installation and using of filter press, maintenance carefully and strictly
comply with the safety rules is the necessary conditions to improve the use efficiency
of the equipment,prolongs the service life of the equipment and ensure safely in
production. So the operator should master the correct method of operation, should
also be familiar with the basic structure and filter principle, in order to improve
production efficiency and avoid unnecessary equipment accidents or damage.
At present, our company production of recessed plate filter press, plate and frame
filter press and the membrance filter press and others series. The recessed plate filter
press has more advantages than the plate and frame filter press. In the practical
production mainly using the recessed plate filter press. The specification is based on
recessed plate filter press operation characteristics and preparation, but the plate and
frame filters working principle is basically similar with recessed plate filter press, so it
can reference.

Overview
Filter press is used the differential pressure on both side of the filter cloth, forcing
the most water of material through the filter cloth, outflow of the machine, and the
materials were blocking by the filter chamber to be filter cake, in that way , to achieve
the purpose of filtering. Because during the filtration, there is a large pressure
difference in both sides of filter cloth, so improves the filtering speed and reduce the
cake moisture rate, and the use of special filter cloth, the filtrate is pure, the filtering
effect is match better than the vacuum filter.
Filter press have a good effect even in processing difficult filter material,
It is easy to be embalmed, and has the simple structure, convenient operation, low
price compared to other filter. So selected filter as dewatering equipment is your best
choice.
At present, filter press has been widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical,
metallurgy, ceramics, pigments, dyes, sugar, cement, silicate and other industrial
sludge dewatering etc.

practical applications, for filter press for jack clip in the work of large labor intensity, no
pressure display, only applies to a small area of the filter press.

commonly used for filtering area of 1-40 square of filter press.
Mechanical filter press characteristic is easy to operate, low labor strength,
suitable for 10-100 square meters of filter press.
hydraulic pressure filter press characteristic is easy operation, low labor strength,
high efficiency, apply to filter the area bigger filter press, is commonly 4-500 square
meters or more.
4,According to the liquid outflow is divided into open stream and hidden stream.
Hidden stream filter press is refers to the filtered through a clear liquid flow and
then through the mouth to mouth with liquid connected directly to the pipe line
intended location (see chart 4, 6).
Hidden stream filter press used in volatile, toxic, stimulating odor or corrosive and
not allowed exposed of the filter material.

The open stream filter press is to point to the filter liquid is not pass through a clear
liquid mouth outflow, but from each filter plate water tip directly (see chart 3, 5).
The open stream filter press has the advantage of easy to see if there is any
breakage, in the filter, if you notice a piece of filter cloth damaged (average
performance of the mixed liquid), as long as the tip is closed, still can continue to filter,
after a work cycle ends then can change or repair the filter cloth.
5,According to the filter cake whether to need washing, can be divided into can
wash filter press and do not wash filter press. In addition to filter cake is required to
be washing outside, average all choose not wash type.
6,According to different needed water content of filter cake, can be divided into
optional blow air filter press and don't blow gas filter press. In addition to filter cake
that really need to be very dry average all don't choose the blowing type.

pressure of cast iron, nodular cast iron and stainless steel filter board.

Equipment installation
1,Filter press should be installed horizontally in concrete foundation in structure,
installation the basis should use two grouting. (Note that the push board at the bottom
use of stents bolt, oil cylinder should not be fixed, not pack cement) To ensure that
the filter press stay freedom under press cases. Considering the pressure filter in
when unloading is easy to operate, rack should stay around about one meter of space.

8,After all the installation is completed, should carefully check filtering system and
pipeline is in accordance with the requirements, confirmed before they can be put to
use.
