Provide answers in paragraph form to the questions below that

are relevant to your production.

1. Are there any potential hazards that could pose a health and safety
risk where your photo shoot will take place (trailing
cables/traffic/other objects)? Within the photography studio there
will be hazards in the form of trailing cables and equipment, as well
as the props being used.

2. What will you do to ensure these risks are minimised? I will ensure
that my models are suitably briefed on health and safety, and will
clearly mark any trailing cables and make sure props are out of the
way when not in use.

3. Will the time of day/weather affect the outcome of the photos?

Have you allowed for this? This will have no effect, as the images
are to be taken indoors.

4. Have you considered the background to your photos, particularly if

taken outside? How will you ensure you will get the background you
want? The background will be maintained as a block colour that is
easy to remove when editing the images and this is easily done
within a photo studio.

5. Have you considered lighting? What about the problems of natural

lighting, either outside, or streaming through a window? Will you
need to use a flash? Have you considered reflective objects that
might spoil the effect? I have considered lighting, and will be
making use of artificial, low-key lighting. All windows will be
covered to prevent any other light from entering the studio and
spoiling the shot, whilst the flash will not be used.

6. Do you need permission to take photos in the place/venue you have

in mind? Yes, although we have already secured a booking for the
venue.

7. Do you need to book time in a room? As above, yes, but a booking

has already been secured.

8. Are other people/crowds likely to be an issue for you? What have

you done to ensure that it will not spoil the effect? As the venue is
booked specifically for this photo shoot, crowds and other people
will not be an issue.

9. Are you reliant on lifts/props/friends equipment/models? How have

you planned that these things will come together at the appointed
time? Plan B? I do have a certain reliance on props and models,
although as a group we agreed to all take our required images in
this one session, and this acts as a form of collateral to ensure that
the models will all be there. If the props do not arrive, however, I
can easily take suitable images without them, though the effect will
be lessened.

10. Finally, have you thought of every eventuality? I would like to

think I have considered every eventuality, although there are
always, of course, potential unforeseen scenarios that could occur.
Based on this, I will ensure to have multiple contingencies in place
at the time.
