NATHAN A.

TUCKER

The death of Nathan A. Tucker was carried in an August 1903 issue of

The Waynesville Enterprise Newspaper. The following appeared under
RESOLUTIONS;

"Whereas Bro. Nathan A. Tucker, a member of Harveysburg

Lodge No. 312 F. and A.M. was taken from us by death Sept. 30, I903,
"Therefore, be i t RESOLVED; That we the members of said

Lodge deeplybdeplore his departure but sincerely trust that our loss is

his gain and that by the benefit of the pass of a pure life he has gained
admission into the celestial Lodge above where our supreme Grand Master
will be pleased to pronounce him a just and upright Mason and that he had
become a living stone of that house not made with hands eternal in the
heavens.

"RESOLVED; that we tender our heartfelf sympathies to his

bereaved amily and hope that they will all at last be runited in that
happy land, where the wicked cease from troubling and the weary are at
rest.

"RESOLVED; That we as a body and individually partkake and

cultivate more of that genial and social sprit which characterized our*

lamented brother. He was the true type of a liberal and consisten Mason, an
ardent advocate of its grand and beautiful precepts. As man who calmly
deliberated on a a question viewing it without prejudice and having in
strict accordxi with the sublime teachings of our Order.

No instance to

our knowledge of his violating in the least hks or our obligations.

a man worthy of our highest esteem and imitation.
"Resolved; That a copy of said resolution be furnished the

family and spread upon the minutes of Lodge.
