TRANSLATION SERVICES:
If your documents are not in English a certified translation may be required. Translations are not required for General Evaluations where
the documents are issued in a ‘Latin Alphabet.’ Translations are generally required for all Course Analysis requests.
If your documents are in Spanish, Italian, French, or Portuguese and you are requesting any type of Course Analysis, SpanTran has a
special ‘Language Handling’ service where we can translate your coursework for evaluation purposes for an additional cost of $50. This
service costs significantly less than a certified translation.

YOUR SIGNATURE BELOW SIGNIFIES THAT YOU ACCEPT ALL OF THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS:
1. I have read the SpanTran application and brochure and accept the terms in both.
2. Incomplete applications, documentation, and payment delay the initiation and release of evaluations / translations.
3. I authorize SpanTran to release to and obtain from official institutions information pertaining to my credentials.
4. My translation and/or evaluation will be based on the documentation I submit with this application or upon request.
5. Translations / evaluations are issued with the prevailing document status: attested/unattested/notarized photocopies and/or originals. Once the work is issued, no changes in document status will be made.
6. Prior to payment of balance, it is my responsibility to confirm with the referring entity which services are needed.
7. I may be receiving correspondence (fax, or e-mail) detailing the total cost of the evaluation / translation, if any additional fees, and / or additional required documentation /verification
fees are required.
8. SpanTran reserves the right to “downgrade” the requested service if the adequate information is not provided. For such case, SpanTran, at its own discretion, will provide the most adequate
service available. The difference in cost may be refunded.
9. SpanTran verifies documentation. In certain instances SpanTran may require Document Verification Service if there is a suspicion of alteration or fraud, if the documents are from a country or an
educational institution that frequently has issues with fraudulent documents, if the target institution requires this service, or if SpanTran otherwise requires a verification. Thus, SpanTran reserves
the right to charge for verification as an additional service or ask me to arrange for source documents to be sent directly to SpanTran from the source institution.
10. SpanTran will not return any altered or falsified documents, including originals, refund any fees paid, nor provide any services. SpanTran advises various entities, including target institution(s), of
unauthenticated documents.
11. From the date of issue of the evaluation/translation, I have 30 calendar days to submit in writing any questions. I will have one opportunity do so. Submission of questions does not guarantee that
revisions are justified and will be made.
12. SpanTran is not responsible for any damages I incur as result of having supplied incomplete or false documentation.
13. I will pay all expenses and legal fees resulting from any claim that I make based on misinformation I supply to SpanTran.
14. SpanTran is not responsible for mail lost or misdelivered by the post office or mail / delivery services.
15. I understand all fees are non-refundable. SpanTran will not refund any fees paid except for overpayments (money paid beyond the services completed by SpanTran). Cancellation of
a request for evaluation/translation does not constitute an overpayment.
16. SpanTran retains the right to decline to provide service.
