Academics @ Lee
Hello! Hola!
Gracias. Thank you.
Adis! Good bye!
The Two-Way Dual Language Enrichment
Program integrates language minority and
language majority students in the same
classroom with the goal of academic
excellence and bilingual proficiency for both
groups. The program is currently offered in
Kindergarten and 1st grade; it will expand to
2nd grade in 2015-2016. Robert E Lee is one
of 10 elementary campuses in DISD offering
the dual language program.
Talented and Gifted
The Talented and Gifted (TAG) program
implements, maintains, and supports a
variety of instructional strategies designed for
the gifted learner that address the four core
academic areas: math, language arts/reading,
science, and social studies.
Other Offerings
Robert E Lee Elementary offers special
education and speech services, as well as
a pre-school program for children with
disabilities (PPCD).
IB is Coming!
The International Baccalaureate (IB)

governments, and international organizations to
develop challenging programs of international
education and rigorous assessment.
The program aims to develop inquiring,
knowledgeable, and caring young people.
