How do the Numbers work?

As already pointed out, advanced numerology is the science of numbers which draw their strengths and weaknesses
from the planets, and reflect the same in the lives of the people they affect. Here, two things must be understood

When we study advanced numerology, we are indirectly studying the influence of planets on human beings.

Numbers by themselves are not creative forces. They are a bundle of forces that take commands from the

One may wonder whether planets can influence human beings at all, be it directly or indirectly. Yet it was clearly
established long ago that the planets exercise their influence on the living beings. Scientists like Darwin of England,
and Flam Marion of France aptly discovered that the attraction of the Moon is causing the tides on earth, as well as
having some role in the natural phenomenon of earthquakes. When the Moon, a satellite of the Earth, can influence
such a huge planet, what could be the effect on the human brain by all the other planets, several times bigger than
the Moon in diameter and mass?
Again, one may question the need for numerology to study human life, when there is already astrology for predicting
the events in a persons life. The answer is very simple. There are several systems of medicine for curing ones
disease and depending on ones interest/need, the curative system is selected. Similarly, numerology is one of the
branches of occult technology and it can be opted for by people who are fascinated by it.
The division of numbers
Numbers are basically divided into three categories:

Double digit numbers, which denote numbers made up of any two single digit numbers like 35, 89, 44 and
99.
Compound or multi digit numbers. These terms refer to numbers which are made up of three or more single
digit numbers like 123, 345 and 674, 6578 and 869432.
The number 0
The number 0 has no value when viewed separately, but when it is put at the side of a single, double, or compound
number, the value of that particular number goes up several times and because of this function, 0 is known as
the number of infinite value.
Primary numbers
It must be noted that the single digit numbers are also known as the primary, main, or basic numbers and any double
or compound number (beginning from 10 or 100 onwards) respectively is the multiplication of some single numbers
only. In fact, when you think of primary numbers separately, all the numbers starting from 2 to 9 are the multiplication
of the number 1 only, which is the number of origin and creation ( as it stands first among all the primary numbers).
When you think along those lines, the number 9 becomes the number of ending and destruction as it is the last
one in the series of the primary numbers.
Regeneration and Mystery

The number 9 becomes the number of regeneration, too, as it is the number of destruction. Since everything that
is destroyed is bound to reappear in some form or other, number 9, as the number of destruction, is having a peculiar
quality of regeneration also.
One can see the power of the number 9 in calculations also. When you multiply any number with the number 9, the
net total of digits of the resulting number equals to 9 only. For example multiply 3 with 9 and you will get the sum of
27 which equals to 9 when the two numbers 2 and 7 are added up. As another example, multiply 25 with the number
9, you will get the sum of 225 and it equals to 9 when all the three numbers (2+2+5) are added up.
Middle number:
The number 5 becomes the middle number as it is in the middle of all the primary numbers. It comes after four
numbers (1, 2, 3, and 4) and four numbers (6, 7, 8, and 9) follow after it.
The mystery number:

Lesson 3: Individual Numerology

In this lesson, you will come to know the natural and inherent characteristics of persons of various numbers and the
nature of the 12 solar months (or periods). You will also come to understand the intricate way that various solar
months (or periods) modify the inherent characteristics of a person.
The aim of this lesson is to equip you with the assessing abilities of the characteristics of people of various numbers
and how their characteristics are modified depending upon the solar month (or period) in which they are born. A
thorough understanding of this lesson will give you an excellent command of assessing mentalities, behavior and

Characteristics of People
By now you are familiar with the characteristics of the various numbers. Now, you will be introduced to the

The sun, better known as the Father of the Universe, takes one full month to complete the journey of a zodiacal sign
and one full year to complete the journey through the twelve signs of the entire zodiac. The 30 days period taken by
the sun to pass through a zodiacal sign is called a solar month or a numerical month. Following the listings
in Raphaels Astronomical Ephemeris, the average transit of the sun progresses as follows (the names in brackets

Modification of the Characteristics

As you are already familiar with the characteristics of persons of various numbers and solar periods, it is time for us
to explore how these natural and inherent characteristics of persons of different numbers are likely to be modified
depending on the solar or numerical month in which they are born.
It is quite obvious that any two or three people born at the same time or on the same date in a particular city or town
would not have the same type of character, behavior, or mentality. They may also not necessarily take up the same
profession just because they are born at the same place or on the same date. People born on the same date, at the
same time, or at the same place should not necessarily share similar sentiments, emotions and thoughts, too.
As an example, we shall study how the characteristics of a number 1 person would be modified depending on the
solar month in which he is born. The modification process can be applied to persons of other numbers as well.
A number 1 person is very much an independent person, as explained in section one of this lesson. But a number 1
person born in the solar month of Aries and another number 1 person born in the solar month of Taurus completely
differ in mentalities and attitudes. Yet, it must be noted that both of them are destined to lead independent lives.
As the solar month of Aries represents fiery, movable and manly qualities, the number 1 person born in this period
would be very much commanding, independent, active, energetic, assertive, lively, dynamic, inquisitive and
ambitious. But a number 1 person born in the solar month of Taurus would have a submissive nature and be a hard
working and service oriented person. S/He will maintain consistency and stick to a fixed ideology in all matters as
opposed to the changing nature of the former. The latter remains a contented person and faces things in a soft and
gentle manner while the former develops ambitions and faces things in life in a rough and tough manner. While the
person born in the Taurus period wants improvement in life in a slow and steady manner, the person born in the Aries
period works aggressively towards faster growth.
Quite differently, the number 1 person born in the month of Gemini develops an attitude of flexibility and acts as
would be appropriate to the situation. S/He would have a fully diplomatic and materialistic personality waiting for an
opportunity to turn things to her/his advantage.
A number 1 one person born in the month of Cancer would certainly be an independent personality but tackle things
in a patient and cool manner even in the most adverse of situations. A number 1 person from the Leo period would
have a firebrand personality but control things from where s/he sits. While a number 1 person from the Virgo month
uses tact and her/his hard working nature to get things done, a Libra number 1 person uses both her/his dynamism
and intelligence in the discharge of her/his professional duties and responsibilities. A number 1 person born in the
Scorpio period sticks to her/his views gently and rejects others ideas in a soft manner without hurting their
sentiments, while the Sagittarius number 1 person acts in an aggressive manner whenever and wherever the
situation demands. A number 1 person from the Capricorn period would lead an independent life with her/his
dynamism and hard work, while the Aquarius number 1 person would use his or her intelligence and energies to lead
a contented a life. Finally a number 1 person from the Pisces period would be a person entirely of soft and gentle

This lesson discusses the methods used for calculating the numerical values of the names of persons (and also
things), and explains the enriched meanings of prime and double digit numbers. Please remember to take the

in the assessment of broader meanings of prime and double digit numbers, so that you can use them wherever
necessary when you deal with Relationship Numerology.
Calculating Numerical Values

In the same way that the numbers represent various planets, everything on this earth represents one of the nine
primary numbers. Human beings, countries, cities, towns, streets, houses and places all have their own names, and it
is a well-known truth that everything in this world can be expressed in terms of a numerical value. To convert each
and everything, including the names of persons, into numerical values, the following two methods are followed:

I recommend to the student of this advanced Numerology course to follow the Hebrew method in calculating the
numerical values of names, persons, and things as it is advocated by the great numerologist Cheiro. This method has
been producing very accurate results in all respects, and Cheiro could predict very accurately with this method. In my
experience, too, this method is turning out to be very accurate.
As an example, take the name of Sylvia Cochran. The numerical values of Sylvia Cochran should be calculated in
the following way:

When you want to study anything in terms of Advanced Numerology, the numerical value of the object, whether it is a
person or thing, should be calculated in the above manner.
Used names are important
You may entertain doubts in you mind as to which name is to be considered for numerical purpose when a person
has several names. It must be noted that whatever is the number of names one may posses, the most used name
should be considered for the purpose of general numerological study. The reason is that only pronunciations would
carry the power of vibrations and not the written name. The pronunciation of the name of a person or thing is vital.
How the name of a person is written is not important.
A person may have different names at different places. For example, take the name of Sylvia Cochran again.
Sylvia Cochran may be called Sylvia by family members at home or Cochran by colleagues at the work place.
Naturally you would be confused as to which one is to be considered for the purpose of calculation. The answer is
very simple. If you study the name in relation to a family issue, consider the name Sylvia (used at home), and if you
study the name in relation to an issue concerning the work place, consider the name Cochran (as used at the work
place). This means that you have to take into consideration the name that is used in relation to a particular aspect
which is to be studied.
Thus, irrespective of ones birth name or name mentioned in the school records or in any other official record, only
the used name in relation to a particular issue should be considered for the purpose of calculation. The next lesson
will focus further on relationship numerology, the utility of improvised names, and how they would change ones life
despite the birth name, indicating a defect or problem.
Enriched Meanings of Prime Numbers

You are already familiar with the meanings of all the nine prime numbers. Each prime number conveys a particular
meaning and has to be understood properly. Let us analyze the numbers one by one. A proper assessment and

This number has a penchant for everything that is new and foreign. It has a philosophical touch in everything
it does. It is the most mysterious number and has business acumen also.
Number 8
It is a number of either successes or failures and has no middle path. It is the most unfortunate number in
the sense that it is never understood properly and always misunderstood. It has got a penchant for all low
category things and is classified as a number of loneliness and melancholy.
Number 9
It is a number of domination, control, degeneration and destruction. It has a liking for accidents and quarrels
and is never tired of fighting. It is the most authoritative number after number 1.
Double Digit Numbers

It is time for us to study the wider meanings of double digit numbers which play an important role in advanced
numerology. In section one of the second lesson, I have already explained what the double digit numbers are, but
their wider meanings must be properly understood in order to use them effectively in anybodys life. Cheiro, the
greatest numerologist of all times, explains the deeper meanings of the double digit numbers in the following manner.
These meanings proved accurate in the lives of several people, including mine, and I advise you to study this
information with perfect concentration.
No. 10: It represents honor, faith, self confidence, rise and fall, good or bad. Depending on ones desires,
this number leads one to good or bad.
No. 11: It represents hidden dangers, treachery and difficulties from others.
No. 12: It represents suffering, anxiety and sacrifice. This number personifies a person being sacrificed for
the plans and intrigues of others.
No. 13: It represents change of plans, change of place, upheaval and destruction and unexpected dangers.

fire, earth, air, water and ether. It is a very good number for dealing with money, speculation and changes in

No. 15: It is a very good number for receiving favors, gifts and money. It can be lucky and powerful when it is
associated with some powerful primary numbers (see the explanation in the second section) but may turn
out to be very destructive and dangerous when it comes in contact with one of the primary numbers of 4 and
8 or with both of them. This means that one should avoid business or any type of dealing with a person
representing 15 when the transaction involves any of the two numbers of 4 and 8.
No. 16: It represents accidents and defeat of ones plans.
No. 17: This number represents spiritualism, peace, love, and immortality. It is a very fortunate number as
long as it is not associated with a single number of 4 or 8.When 17 comes in contact with any of these
numbers or both of them, it causes destruction and havoc. A clear cut example of the power of this number

represent money earning through business connected with arms and arms manufacturing and war related
activities. Treachery, deception and danger from the natural elements are also indicated by this number.
No. 19: It represents success, esteem, honor and happiness. It is known as the heavenly number.
No. 20: It is not a materialistic number and its capacity to produce worldly success is doubtful. This number
represents new plans, new ambitions and new purpose. It also stands for delays, hindrances. It gives a
combined meaning of delay of plans and obstructions in the implementation of projects.
No. 21: This number represents advancement, success, elevation and honor in life. It also stands for victory
after a long fight.
No. 22: This number stands for illusion and delusion, a fools paradise and a dreamer of dreams. It
represents false judgment and delay in recognizing the dangers looming large.
No. 23: It represents success and help from others and protection from those in high positions.
No. 24: This number represents assistance and association of persons in high positions. It also means gains
from the persons of the opposite sex.
No. 25: This number means strength gained through experience and benefits obtained through observation
of people and things. It also represents strife and trouble in the early life.
No. 26: It represents gravest dangers and disasters brought about by the association of people. It also

No. 31: This number has the ingredients of number 30. Additionally, it is identified with isolation and

Lesson 5: Predictive Numerology, Part 1

In the last four lessons we discussed the fundamentals of advanced numerology, the characteristics of numbers, the
characteristics of solar months, and the modification of the general characteristics of persons of various numbers, the
importance of numerical values, and their meanings.
We will now delve into the world of the predictive and relationship aspects. This lesson focuses on the fundamentals
of basic and period numbers, which play key roles in predictive numerology; please note that I developed this
system through the application of an important principle of Vedic Astrology.

The Basic and Period Numbers

The base for predictive numerology lies in the natural and functional qualities of the numbers and the zodiac. When
astrologically viewed, every person has a zodiacal ascendant. Likewise, when seen from the numerological angle,
every person has a basic number and a period number. Only these two numbers are mainly used in the predictive
numerology and they are the prerequisites for predicting events.
What is the basic number?
A persons basic number, also known as the numerical ascendant, is attained by adding the number of birth date
and the number of birth month. For example, if you are born on the 21st day of August (the year is not mentioned as
it is not part of calculations here), your basic number is 2. See how it is calculated:
Number of the day: 3 (21=2+1=3)

Number of the month: 8 (August is 8th in the series of 12 months from January to December)
3+8 =11=1+1=2 (It should always be converted into a single digit)
Specialty of 5, 6, 9 as the basic numbers
Take the numbers 5, 6, 9, all the other numbers own only single signs (refer to section 2 in lesson 2), yet these three
numbers have lordship of two signs each, and when you get one of these three as the basic number, you may doubt
as to which one of the two signs owned by it should be treated as the basic number. For example, you may get the
basic number as 5 from a persons birth date. Number 5 owns 2 signs, of which one is negative and the other is
positive. In such a situation, you cannot go by a random method, but you have to find out the solar or numerical
month in which the person is born. If the month represents a positive sign, take 5 positive as the basic number. Or if
the month represents a negative one, take 5 negative as the basic number.
The following calculation will make things much clearer: If a person is born on September 5, his basic number is 5
positive.
Number of Date + Number of Month

5 + 9 = 14 = 1+4 =5
Since this birth date falls in the numerological month (August 24September 23) which is positive, the basic number
becomes 5 positive. When the basic number is 5, 6, or 9 owning two signs, and the numerological month is that of 2
and 1, which are both positive and negative, you have to adopt the following method and should not take into
consideration the numerological month: if the birth date falls with in the first fifteen days of the month, take the
positive one as the basic number, but if the birth date is on or after 16th of the month, take the negative one as the
basic number.
What is the period number?
A persons period number is obtained by adding the number of the birth date and the number of the numerological
month in which he is born. If you are born on August 21 (again, the year is not mentioned as it is not part of
calculations here), your period number is 4. See how it is calculated:
The day falls in the numerological month of 1 representing Leo whose period is from July 23 to August 23.
Number of birth date: 3 (21=2+1=3)
Number of numerological month: 1 (3+1=4; it should always be converted into a single digit)
Why is the year of birth not considered?

One may wonder why the number of the year is not considered in the calculation of either the basic number or the
period number. It becomes clear that this is not useful when considering that the year of birth is never repeated in
anyones life. On the other hand, date, month and numerological month are often repeated in everybodys life. For
example, take a person is born on August 15, 1989. In his life, he may come across many August months and many
dates of 15 in addition to many numerological months of the same number but he never sees the year 1989 again. As
a result of this, the role played by the year of birth is nil in predictive numerology and the year number is avoided.
As already discussed in lessons 2 and 3, a persons general nature and characteristics are decided by the number of
the date on which s/he is born and the number of the numerological month in which s/he is born. Again, the year of
birth plays no role. Please note that these two numbers are obtained to be used in predictive numerology only and
not anywhere else.
Periods of Numbers
Before proceeding to work on these numbers, we must learn about the periods of numbers. In the age-old
Indian Vedic astrology, a time tested method known as the Vimshottari period system is used for knowing and
predicting the future events. It has already been pointed out that the numbers cannot act independently but they, as
the true representatives of the planets, inherit their qualities and pass on the same to mankind. Along with the
qualities and characteristics of the planets, the numbers inherit their periods also. The following are the periods of
various numbers as inherited from the respective planets:

The order of periods
Now we shall study how these periods operate. While counting money, buying things from a shop. or withdrawing
money from a bank (or for anything else where counting is used), we use the numbers starting from one. This means
that number one always comes first, followed by two. Two is always followed by three, to be followed by four, and so
on. We do this intentionally and counting is done from one. But do these numbers, whenever they act, act one by one
in order, as we do the counting, like number one is followed by two, and two followed by three, and so on?
No! They never act in order as we do so intentionally. Is the same winning number repeated in races daily? Did you
ever find the serial numbers of winning horses on a single day to be in serial order like 1, 2, 3 and 4 and so on? Did
you ever get the cinema hall tickets or train tickets containing serial order numbers during your two regular visits to a
cinema hall or train journeys?
You can never say yes to such questions, as numbers have a tendency to act at random. In such circumstances, it
is also very difficult to say that the periods of numbers operate in serial order. For example, a person who completes
the number one period has to enter the phase of the number two period, and after that pass through the number
three period, if one goes by the serial order. As it is not possible for the periods of numbers to act in such a serial
order, a system is needed to be used in predictive numerology.
Each and every human being normally undergoes nine different phases in his or her life, and each number
represents a different phase of life. We have already discussed the various characteristics of numbers in detail in
lesson number 2. At this time, please note the chief characteristics of numbers:

For any human being, first comes origin or creation (1) followed by maturity (2). After this follows youthfulness (9) in
order to reach a phase of separation (4) (through marriage or profession). Then the person progresses (3) in life to
accumulate wealth, only to be affected later by the feelings of loneliness (8) as if he or she has distanced himself or
herself from his or her parents, brothers and sisters and native environment. Then is the time for anyone to think of
what is good or bad, and it makes him or her more and more intelligent ( 5 ). As the person grows in age and
maturity, philosophical tendencies ( 7 ) also grow along with him or her. Finally, when the person gets old, he or she
rests pleasantly thinking of love and peace (6) and nothing else.
Representing the nine phases, as described above, periods of numbers operate in the following order in anybodys
life:

Sub Periods of Numbers

Now is the time for us to discuss the sub periods of numbers. If you consider the previously mentioned periods of
numbers as their main periods, then the main period of each number is divided into several sub periods. These sub
periods are very useful in predictive numerology. Please note that the first sub period in the main period of a number
starts with the same number and the order of sub periods is the same as in the main periods.

Like we have friends and foes in our society, numbers also have got friends and enemies among themselves. This
friendship concept plays an important role in the predictive part. The following is the table which shows friends and

The friendship concept is an excellent one and when applied to personalities, it gives amazing results. For example,
one can see from the above table that number 1 considers 2,3,4,7 and 9 as friendly numbers while it sees 6 and 8 as
enemy numbers and 5 as the neutral number. One can find that the number 5 considers 1 as the friendly number. It
should be understood from this that when a number considers another number as a friendly one, the latter should not
necessarily reciprocate the former in the same manner.
When this is applied to people, a number 1 person, born on any date whose digits are equal to 1 when totaled, is
considered friendly by a number 5 person, born on any date whose digits are equal to 5 when totaled. Yet, it must be
noted that a number 1 man or woman always considers a number 5 person, male or female, as a neutral person only.
This plays an important role in predicting relationships between people.

This lesson deals with the calculation part of the predictive numerology. Having gone through the details of the basic
and period numbers, as well as initials of the main and sub periods in part 1, we will discover the calculation of said
periods for predicting events. It also teaches the method for finding out the number period in which a birth or an event
takes place.

Calculating the Periods

Now comes the question of calculating the periods. The period number is the yardstick for calculating the period in
which a person is born. For example, a persons birth date is August 25, 1985.
His period number is: 3 (Date + Numerological month)
Date: 25=2+5=7
Numerological month: 5 positive (As the birth date falls between August 24 and September 23 in Virgo)
7+5=12=1+2=3
This means that the person is born in the period of 3 which runs for 16 years. It can also be said that the person is
born during the main period of 3. Since he was born in the middle of the year; he must have completed a part of the
total of the 16 years represented by 3.
To calculate the completed part of the period for persons born in any month, a simple method is adopted. For this
purpose, a full year (or a period of 12 months) is taken as the measurement. To put it another way, you have to
consider that a full year is equal to a period of 16 years or 192 months. In this case, the person is born on August 25
and has completed 7 months and 24 days in the year. While calculating the completed part of the period, the number
of days also should be taken into consideration.
In the case of people born in a number 3 period, a full year or a period of 12 months is equal to 16 years or 192
months. This implies that one month or a period of 30 days is equal to 16 months or a period of 480 days and one
day is equal to16 days.
Now apply the following calculation: if a period of 12 months is equal to a total period of 16 years or 192 months, the
period of 7 months and 24 days is equal to how many months and days?
12 months =192 months

7 months =?
(7 x 192) : 12 = 112 months
1 day = 16 days
24 days = ?
24x16 days = 384 days =12 months and 24 days
For 7 months = 112 months
For 24 days = 12 months and 24 days
Totally it is 124 months and 24 days, or 10 years, 4 months, and 24 days
This means that the person has completed 124 months and 24 days, or 10 years, 4 months, and 24 days in a total
period of 192 months, or 16 years, leaving a balance of 5 years, 7 months, and 6 days. If you add this balance period
to his date of birth, you will get the date by which he completes the number 3 main period. Likewise, you can go on
adding the succeeding main periods or sub periods in the next main period.

If you calculate up to the number 7 sub period, it amounts to 7 years, 10 months, and 12 days. Still a period of 2
years, 6 months, and 12 days is left over in his completed period of 10 years, 4 months, and 24 days. That balance
period extends into the sub period of number 6. This means that the person is born in the sub period of number 6 in
the main period of number 3.
Why is the year considered?
For finding out the period completed in the main period at the time of birth, the year is taken as the measuring unit.
You may want to know the reasons why the year or a period of 12 months is taken and not a week or a period of
seven days. The answer is very clear: the period of a number is talked about in terms of years or months and not in
terms of days or weeks. A year consists of 12 months and the number of zodiacal signs is also 12. The life giving sun
also takes 12 months to complete a circle of the zodiac. Given this background, the measurement gives the correct
calculation to find out the completed part of the period in the main period of a number.

In this section, we will learning some important predictive principles and gain a better idea about the extension of the
predictive system. If you go through the details of various positions, you will come to the conclusion that the following
positions are bad, as they contain mostly unwanted characteristics and traits:

You may notice that the position of 3 contains the characteristics of 8, the position of 5 the characteristics of 9, the
position of 7 the characteristics of 10 , the position of 9 the characteristics of 5, and finally the position of 11 the
characteristics of 6. Why is it so? Why should the position of 3 contain the characteristics of 8? If you understand the
logic and reasons leading to such a situation, the same can be applied to the other positions (5, 7, 9 and 11) as well.
Advanced numerology treats the 8th position from the basic number as a bad one as you have already seen. This 8th
position changes depending on ones basic number. If the basic number is 4, 5 positive becomes the 8th position. If
the basic number is 1, 7 becomes the 8th position. If the basic number is 5 negative, 8 becomes the 8th position. You
must understand this very clearly.
Now, under a principle known as position to position, you have to count the 8th position from the 8th position. If
you do so, the 3rd position from the basic number becomes the 8th position from the 8th one. As per this principle,
the 3rd position also represents the traits of the 8th position.
Likewise, if you count the 9th position from the 9th position, it is the 5th one from the basic number, and it also
contains the features of the 9th one. The 10th position from the 10th is the 7th one from the basic number, and the
7th also contains the features of 10th one. In the same manner, the 5th position from the 5th one is the 9th position
from the basic number, and the 9th contains the characteristics of the 5th also. The 6th position from the 6th is the
11th one, and the 11th position also is equipped with the 6th positions characteristics.
Destructive nature
You will find the trait of destructive nature in the positions of 2 and 7. Considering that these two positions contain
several good things and not even a single bad thing, how can the positions of 2 and 7 be treated as possessing a
quality of a destructive nature? Let us discuss the principle of negation.
As you have already seen, the first position contains a trait of beginning, and the 12th position contains a trait of
ending. This means that the 12th position always tries to oppose and negate the traits and characteristics of the 1st
position. This principle of negation can be applied to any position. When you apply this principle to the 8th position,
treating it temporarily as the first, the 7th position becomes the 12th position to the 8th one. In that backdrop, the 7th
position always tries to oppose and negate the traits of the 8th position whose main trait is longevity. As a result, the
7th position becomes destructive also.
The same principle can be applied to the 3rd position (which contains the traits of 8th position), too, under the
principle of position from position. In a way, the 3rd position also contains the trait of longevity. Now, the 2nd
position opposes and negates the 3rd position, under the principle of negation, and assumes a destructive quality,
too.
Harassing nature of numbers
For certain numbers, other numbers turn into agents of harassment. Under this principle of harassment, the 11th
position becomes a source of harassment for all movable basic numbers, the 9th position becomes a source of
harassment for all fixed basic numbers, and the 7th position becomes a source of harassment for all dual basic
numbers.
For example, a persons basic number is 2. Since it is a movable basic number, the sign owned by 6 negative (11th
position from the sign owned by 2) assumes the role of a harassing force. If the basic number is 1, representing a
fixed character, the sign owned by 9 positive (9th position from the sign owned by 1) becomes a harassing force. If
the basic number is 5 positive representing a dual character, the sign owned by 7 (7th position from the sign owned
by the 5 positive) becomes a harassing force.
Dangerous Combinations
The following combinations of main and sub periods, or sub and main periods generally produce dangerous results
during their periods:

position, the natural qualities of the number 3, as well as the aspects of the 8th position, are likely to be experienced
by the person.

This lesson gives two important examples -Lady Diana and the WTC attack- to thoroughly analyze the predictive
principles explained in the first two units of Predictive Numerology. A clear understanding of these two examples will
go a long way in applying your knowledge of advanced numerology.

Now that we are familiar with the predictive principles, let us discuss how they operate practically in the lives of
individuals. For this purpose, we shall work out the main and sub periods in the case of the late Lady Diana and
prepare a predictive chart.

period table calculated in case of the late Princess Diana in the section 1 of this lesson).
Number 8 represents the first position while number 2 represents the 7th position. It must be remembered that the
main period number indicates good or bad while the sub period number produces the results in relation to its
characteristics. Here, the main period number 8, representing the first position, has indicated good things (please see
the topic good and bad positions in section 3 of predictive numerology, part 2), while the sub period number is 2,
representing the 7th position, resulted in marriage and marital happiness. (See the characteristics and traits of the 1st
and 7th positions in section 2 of predictive numerology, part 2.)
In case of Princess Diana, marriage appropriately took place during the period of marriage the sub period of the
number 2, indicating the 7th position. Yet it must not be forgotten that the marriage took place during the main and
sub periods of numbers 8 and 2 respectively, both of which are unfavorable ones, as 2 is the weakest number and 8
is the most unfortunate number. It indicates an inherent problem in the marriage.
Number 2, ruling the sub period, has no enemy numbers and considers 8 as a neutral number; it has given its result
in shape of marriage even though the main period number 8 considers number 2 as an enemy. (Refer to the topic
friends and foes among numbers in section 3 of predictive numerology, part 1.) Besides, number 8 is the numerical
ascendant of Diana.
First child born
Her first child was born on 21-7-1982 during the sub period of number 9 in the main period of number 8. As already
pointed out, the main period number 8 representing the first position, is indicating good things while the sub period
number 9 is indicating results of the 4th and 11th positions. The 4th position represents domestic happiness and the
11th position talks about gains. So, number 9 stands for gain of domestic happiness. The happiness came through
the birth of a child.
Even though the 11th position becomes a harassing position for the numerical ascendant 8 (please refer to the topic
harassing nature of numbers in section 3 of predictive numerology, part 2), number 9 representing the harassing
position did not cause any harassment, as the number 9 considers the main period number 8 as a neutral and not as
an enemy. (Refer to the topic friends and foes among numbers in section 3 of predictive numerology, part 1.)
Divorced in 1996
The divorce between the royal couple took place appropriately on 28-8-1996 which falls in the sub period of number 2
in the main period of number 5. Number 2 represents the 7th position indicating married life. Number 5 indicates
mixed fortunes in married life. The point to be remembered here is that the main period number 5 has a friendly
equation with the numerical ascendant 8, but it staunchly opposes the sub period number 2. It must be noted that the
7th position also indicates a destructive nature. The number 2, representing the 7th position here, has no enemies
but it would not be allowed to produce beneficial results as the main period, the number 5, considers it as an enemy
and restricts its beneficial nature.
The divorce officially took place during this period because the sub number indicates a destructive path, also, in
addition to the marital happiness, the main number stands for mixed fortunes. As the number 2 stands for a change, it
brought about a change in her married life.
Killed in car crash in 1997
Diana was killed in a car crash in Paris on 31-8-1997, which falls in the sub number period of 9 during the main
period of number 5. Number 9 positive stands for the 4th position, and number 9 negative stands for the 11th
position. The basic number 8 is a movable one and the 11th position becomes a harassing number for this.,(please
refer to the topic harassing nature of numbers in section 3 of predictive numerology, part 2).
In addition to this, the sub period number 9 considers the main period number 5 as a bitter enemy. (Refer to the topic
friends and foes among numbers in section 3 of predictive numerology, part 1.) As a result, its harassing nature
comes into force and it generally takes an upper hand and strikes a deadly blow during its period. One of the natural
qualities of number 9 is to cause accidents. The harassment came in shape of an accident that killed the young lady.
Attack on the World Trade Center

In this section, we will study the numerological implications concerning the attack on the WTC in the year 2001.This
example is given to further advance your predictive knowledge gained though the example of Diana in the last two
sections.
The dreaded terrorist attack on the WTC, the pride of the USA, took place September 11, 2001. In case of men and
women, their birth dates are taken into consideration and studied but in the case of countries, their independence
days are to be studied and analyzed.
Americas Independence Day is celebrated every year on July 4, since USA was believed to have attained
independence on July 4, 1776 from the British, but it is a fact that the date is involved in a controversy. Although July
4th is celebrated as America's freedom day from Britain's rule, the actual series of events show that the process took
far longer than a single day. The original resolution on Independence was introduced by Richard Henry Lee of
Virginia on June 7, 1776, and called for the Continental Congress to declare the United States free from British rule.
Three days later a committee, headed by Thomas Jefferson, was appointed to prepare an appropriate writing for the
occasion.
The document that we know as the Declaration of Independence was adopted by Congress on July 4th although the
resolution that led to the writing of the Declaration was actually approved two days earlier, on the 2nd of July. Even
more interesting is the fact that not a single signature was appended to the Declaration by the members of the
Congress on July 4th. Nevertheless, July 4th was the day singled out to mark the event of the United States
establishing itself as a nation.
Since we are concerned with the aspects of numerology only and not with the controversies surrounding the
Independence Day, we take into consideration the day the resolution that led to the writing of the Declaration was
actually approved ( July 2nd ) and the same is considered as the date of Independence Day for our calculation
purpose.
In this backdrop, we take July 2, 1776 as the base date for our calculations.

Since the number 9 represents both positive and negative positions, we have to select the basic number
depending on the solar month in which a birth or an event takes place. Here the solar month belongs to
number 2 which again represents both positive and negative aspects as well.
As already explained in section 1 of predictive numerology, part 1, we have to go by the date to select the
basic number in a case like this. Here the date is 2 and falls in the first fortnight of the month representing
the positive aspect. Hence the basic number 9 positive.

number 9. Since the basic number is 9 positive, number 9 indicates the 1st and 8th positions, and the number 4
indicates the 11th position. The 1st and 8th positions reflect both good and bad, and the 11th position reflects a
harassing nature, in addition to other aspects.
As the main period number, 9 indicates mostly bad including accidents and wars (refer to the sixth point under the
sub heading number 9 in section 3 of the general nature of numbers), and the 4 indicates unfortunate tendencies. So,
it is very appropriate that the attack on the WTC took place on September 11, 2001, which falls in the sub period of
the number 4 during the main period of the number 9.

Relationship numerology is undoubtedly the best part of advanced numerology, since it can be applied successfully in
anybodys daily life. The aim of this lesson is to equip you with the ability of assessing the unfavorable nature of the

The Weak and Dangerous Numbers

Advanced numerology insists on a harmonious relationship between the name and birth date of a person, known as
the internal relationship, to avoid inner contradictions, to ensure smooth success, and to lead a happy life on this
planet. It also specifies how to maintain cordial relations with each and everybody and how to avoid quarrels and
anxieties and lead a peaceful life. Harmony between a name and the birth date of a person develops through
vibrations of numerical values representing the two factors. When there is no vibration and harmony between the two,
conflicting interests would crop up disturbing peace and tranquility in ones life.
It is already explained in section 2 of value numerology that 2 is the weakest number and 4 is an unfortunate number.
8 is the most unfortunate one and 9 is a destructive power. Because of these tendencies, the power of these
numbers should never be allowed to be repeated in ones life. Numbers 2, 4, 8, or 9 persons should be cautious
enough not to repeat the power of these numbers in their lives.
This means that if the numerical value of a persons birth date (only the date is to be considered, and not the month
or year) equals 2, 4, or 8, it is better not to have names whose numerical value equals the value of anyone of these
birth dates. It should be strictly observed if one wants to have a trouble free life. A number 9 person must take care
not to repeat the influence of 9.
Students must have a clear understanding of these numbers. A small example makes things very clear for them. A
number 2, 4, or 8 person must not do any important thing on a date which equals any one of these numbers. These

External Relationship
Achieving harmony in internal relationships is the first and foremost step in order to have a highly harmonious and
useful external relationship with others. External relationships are of several kinds and can not be specified,
restricted, or defined in a limited manner as relations between people may vary depending on several factors and
requirements.
Borrowing or lending money, buying or selling a thing, attending an interview or interviewing a person, constructing a
house or working for somebody constructing a house, entering into a life or business partnership, traveling long or
short distance for attending a function, joining a college or school for education and to see a movie or participate in
an entertainment show, and so many other things in a persons daily life come under the category of external
relationship. As I explained earlier, it is very difficult to define the term external relationship but it can be safely stated
that any thing or activity (other than personal) becomes an external activity.
Now comes up the question of how to have harmony and get successful results in relation to external activities. For
example, a number 1 person wants to enter into a business transaction with somebody. If the number 1 person
knows what number person the opposite party is, it becomes easy for the former to deal with the latter and come out
successful in the transaction. In case the number 1 person is dealing with a number 2 male or female, the former
should take note of the fickle minded nature of the latter and take a cautious step in closing the deal. He must know
that the number 2 person may change his or her mind or put in new conditions before the agreement is signed. But
once the agreement is signed, the number 1 person may bring the person of number 2 under his command, as the
latter does not have a strong mind and can easily be commanded. Still, a number 1 person gets irritated with the
number 2 male or female with the latters wavering mind. In fact, a number 2 male or female can only exhibit his or
her changing mind frequently and lose respect from others but can never harm others physically. The only problem
with them is that they are not reliable because of their fickle mindedness.
If the opposite party is a number 3 person, the deal may be a fair one since the number 3 person sticks to his or her
principles or commitments. The deal would be a perfect one if the number 1 person deals with a number 4 man or
woman, as the number 4 person stands for straightforwardness. If the person to be dealt with is a number 5 male or
female, the transaction acquires a real commercial look as that person stands for materialistic and business outlook
and uses his or her shrewd and cunning nature in having an upper hand over the number 1 person. If the person is of
number 6, the number 1 person falls for the attractive nature and magnetic power of the former and loses ground in
the transaction knowingly or unknowingly. If the opposite party is of number 7, there may be a philosophical touch to
the business agreement. A deal with a number 8 person will have some obstacles or be delayed. Entering into an
agreement with a number 9 person may run into a rough weather as both the persons are of commanding and

must not be, however, forgotten that both of them may try to dominate each other and may still continue to be real

Any transaction a number 1 person would have with another number 1 person will have equal pulls and pressures as
both of them are of the same temperament. It must be noted that if the number 1 person enters into an agreement or
a deal with others on a day or date favorable to him or her, the possible unfavorable tendencies emanating from the
said agreement or deal he or she undertakes may come down. If the day or date is unfavorable, the unfavorable

Use of double digit numbers
In both internal and external relationships, double digit numbers play an important role and the meanings of double
digit numbers must be kept in mind in order to achieve internal and external harmony. Let us see an example to know
its importance in relationship numerology:
For a number 1 person, 28 is also one of the suitable dates. But the meaning of the double digit number 28 (please
refer to section 3 of value numerology) is a number of great promises. It indicates loss through trust in others,
opposition, competition in trade, and danger through law agencies. It also represents a person beginning his life
again and making a new beginning again.
Though it is a number of great promises, for all important things this date must be avoided as it indicates several
unfavorable aspects also. Especially while dealing with some governmental agencies or officials, the involvement of
number 28 should not be seen anywhere as the number indicates danger through law agencies. So, it may be a
suitable date for a number 1 person but still he or she should avoid using it.
To state it clearly, a person should not deal with another person who represents the number 28 in some form or
other. A person is said to be representing the number 28 when he resides in a house whose number is 28, whose
vehicle number is 28, who lives on a street whose number is 28, or whose birth date is 28. For these people, life
begins again and again. They will also lose money because of the trust imposed in others. Keeping this in view, one
should avoid dates or people, things, or events representing the double digit numbers having some unfavorable or
dangerous meanings. Everywhere and at every minute, one should be careful of these double digit numbers to avoid
unhappiness in life.
