ON/OFF:
Press this button to turn on the unit . Press this button again to turn off the unit.
Press this button to decrease set temperature. Holding it down above 2 seconds rapidly decreases set temperature. In AUTO mode, set temperature is not adjustable.

Press this button to increase set temperature. Holding it down above 2 seconds rapidly increases set temperature. In AUTO mode, set temperature is not adjustable.

Each time you press this button, a mode is selected in a sequence that goes from AUTO, COOL,
DRY, FAN, and HEAT *, as the following:

After energization, AUTO mode is defaulted. In AUTO mode, the set temperature will not
be displayed on the LCD, and the unit will automatically select the suitable operation

SLEEP:
Press this button to go into the SLEEP operation mode. Press it again to cancel this function.
This function is available in COOL , HEAT (Only for models with heating function) to maintain
the most comfortable temperature for you.
TEMP:
Press this button, you can see indoor set temperature, indoor ambient temperature
on indoor units display. The setting on remote controller is selected circularly as below:
When selecting with remote controller or no display, temperature indicator on indoor

unit displays set temperature; When selecting with remote controller, temperature indicator on indoor unit displays indoor ambient temperature; 3s later or within 3s it receives other
remote control signal that will return to display the setting temperature.
Caution:
This model hasnt outdoor ambient temperature display function. While remote controller can
operate and indoor unit displays set temperature.
Its defaulted to display set temperature when turning on the unit.
Only for the models with temperature indicator on indoor unit.

TIMER ON :
Press this button to initiate the auto-ON timer. To cancel the auto-timer program, simply
press this button again.
After press of this button,
disappears and ON blinks. 00:00 is displayed for ON time setting. Within 5 seconds, press + or - button to adjust the time value. Every press of either button
changes the time setting by 1 minute. Holding down either button rapidly changes the time
setting by 1 minute and then 10 minutes. Within 5 Seconds after setting, press TIMER ON button to confirm.

CLOCK :
Press CLOCK button,
blinking. Within 5 seconds, pressing + or - button adjusts the present
time. Holding down either button above 2 seconds increases or decreases the time by 1 minute every 0.5 second and then by 10 minutes every 0.5 second. During blinking after setting,
press CLOCK button again to confirm the setting, and then
will be constantly displayed.

TIMER OFF :
Press this button to initiate the auto-off timer. To cancel the auto-timer program, simply press
the button again.TIMER OFF setting is the same as TIMER ON.

TURBO:
Press this button to activate / deactivate the Turbo function which enables the unit to reach
the preset temperature in the shortest time. In COOL mode, the unit will blow strong cooling
air at super high fan speed. In HEAT mode, the unit will blow strong heating air at super high
fan speed.

X-FAN:
Pressing X-FAN button in COOL or DRY mode,the icon is displayed and the indoor fan will
continue operation for 2 minutes in order to dry the indoor unit even though you have turned
off the unit.
After energization, X-FAN OFF is defaulted. X-FAN is not available in AUTO,FAN or HEAT mode.

About Back-lighting Function

The unit lights for 4s when energizing for the first time, and 3s for later press.
Replacement of Batteries
1. Remove the battery cover plate from the rear of the remote controller.
(As shown in the figure)
2.Take out the old batteries.
3.Insert two new AAA1.5V dry batteries, and pay attention to the polarity.
4. Reinstall the battery cover plate.
Notes:
When replacing the batteries, do not use old or different
types of batteries, otherwise, it may cause malfunction.
If the remote controller will not be used for a long time,
please remove batteries to prevent batteries from leaking.
The operation should be performed in its receiving range.
It should be kept 1m away from the TV set or stereo sound
sets.
If the remote controller does not operate normally, please
take the batteries out and reinsert them after 30 seconds.If it
still cant operate properly, replace the batteries.

Emergency Operation
Emergency Operation
When the remote controller is lost
or damaged, please use the manual switch
on the main unit. In that case, the unit will
operate in AUTO mode and the temperature
setting or fan speed can not be changed.
The manual switch can be operated as below:
Manual switch
Turn on the unit: Press AUTO/STOP button to enter
AUTO mode.
The microcomputer will select the mode (COOL, HEAT,
FAN) automatically according to the room temperature
for reaching comfortable effect.
Turn off the unit: Press the AUTO/STOP button to
switch off the unit.
The operation mode is seen in the following table.

Care and Cleaning
Caution
Disconnect the power supply before cleaning and maintenance.
Do not splash water on the units for cleaning, as electric shocks may occur.
Wipe the units with a dry soft cloth, or a cloth slightly moistened with water or cleaner (not with
volatile liquid such as thinner or gasoline).
Cleaning the Front Panel

Remove the front panel. Dip a piece of cloth into the water colder than 45 and dry it . Then
wipe the dirty part of front panel.
Note: Do not immerse the front panel into water so as to protect microcomputer components
and circuit diagram on the front panel.
Cleaning the Air Filter (every 3 months)

Note: Do not to touch the fin of indoor unit during cleaning to avoid personal injury.
1. Take down the air filter

Lift up the front panel.
Pull the air filter downwards to take it off,
as shown in Fig.(a,b).

2. Clean the air filter

Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust.
If the filter are dirty, wash them with warm water
and a mild detergent.
Dry the filters in the shade.
(Fig.b)
Note: Never use water above 45 to clean the air

filter or it can cause deformation or discoloration.
3. Reinstall the air filter

Reinstall the air filter Reinstall the filters along
the direction of arrowhead.
Close the panel.

Check before Use

1. Be sure that nothing obstructs the air outlet and inlet.
2. Check if the batteries of remote controller are replaced.
3. Check if the installation stand of the outdoor unit is damaged.
If damaged, consult the technicians.
Maintenance after Use

1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Clean the filter and bodies of indoor and outdoor units.
3. Clear obstructions from the outdoor unit.
4. Repaint the rubiginous place on the outdoor unit to prevent it from spreading.

The unit does not operate
The unit does not operate if it is turned on immediately after it is turned off. This is to protect
the unit. You should wait about 3 minutes.
Waiting
Odours are emitted
Some odours may be emitted from the indoor

unit. This is the result of room smells (such as
furniture, tobacco, ect.) which have been taken into the air conditioner.
Consult authorized service center for cleaning
if the odours still exist.
Water flowing noise
The swishing noise like water flowing is the

refrigerant flowing inside the unit.
Mist is emitted in COOL mode
During cooling operation, a thin mist may be

seen emitted from the indoor unit due to high
room temperature and humidity.
After a period of time, the mist will disappear
with the decrease of room temperature and
humidity.
This is the sound of friction caused by expansion and/or contraction of panel or other parts
due to the change of temperature.

Check if there is magnetic or electrical interference near the unit that may affecting operation of the controller. In this case, pull the plug
out and reinsert it.
Is the remote controller within its operating
range or obstructed? Check the condition of
the batteries and replace them if necessary.
Check if the remote controller is damaged.
Water leakage of indoor unit
The humidity is high.

Condensing water overflows.
Drain hose is loose.
Water leakage of outdoor unit
During cooling operation, water condensate

is generated around the pipes and connection
joints.
During defrosting operation,the thaw water
flows out.
During heating operation,the water on the heat
exchanger drips out.
Noise from indoor unit
The noise emitted when the fan or compressor

relay is switching on or off.
When the defrosting operation is started or
stopped, there is a sound of refrigerant flowing
in the reverse direction.

In HEAT mode, when the temperature of indoor heat exchanger is very low, air flow is
stopped in order to prevent cold air. (Within
2minutes)
In HEAT mode, when the outdoor temperature
is low or humidity is high, frost will be formed
on the outdoor heat exchanger. The unit will
defrost automatically and indoor unit will stop
blowing air for 3-12minutes.
During defrosting operation, water or vapour
may be emitted.
In DRY mode, the indoor fan will stop blowing
air for 3-12 minutes in order to avoid condensing water being vaporised again.
Indoor unit can not blow air:
Moisture on air outlet :
If the unit operates at high humidity for a long

time, moisture will be generated on the air
outlet grill and then drip off.
C5:Malfunction of connector jumper:
Check if the connector jumper contacts properly. If the PCB is to be replaced, please take off
the old for the new PCB.
F1: Malfunction of indoor ambient temperature

sensor
Check if indoor room temperature sensor is

connected properly.
F2: Malfunction of evaporator temperature

sensor
Check if the evaporator temperature is connected properly.
Defrosting or oil teturn mode
It is normal.
The indicating lamp in heat mode will wink
0.5s and light 10s.
H6: Indoor fan block
Check if the terminal of the indoor motor is

connected properly.
Replace the fan motro or the inddor board if
disabled.
If any one of the following situations occurs, immediately stop all operations,
cut off the power supply, and contact the authorized personnel

Operation Tips
Cooling Operation
Principle:
Air conditioners absorb heat in the room and transmit it to the outdoor unit, so that the room
temperature is decreased. The cooling capacity will increase or decrease according to outdoor
ambient temperature.
Antifreezing Function:
If the unit is operating in COOL mode and in low ambient temperature, frost may be formed on
the heat exchanger. When indoor heat exchanger temperature decreases below zero, compressor will stop operation to protect the unit.
Heating Operation
Principle:
Air conditioners absorb heat from outdoors and transmit it to the indoor unit, increasing room
temperature. The heating capacity will decrease at low ambient temperature.
Defrosting:
When outdoor temperature is low but humidity is high, frost may form on the outdoor unit during extended operation, affecting heating efficiency. The air conditioner may stop operation
during auto defrosting operation.
During auto defrosting, the fan motors of indoor unit and outdoor unit will stop.
During defrosting, the indoor indicator flashes and the outdoor unit may emit vapor.
This is not malfunction.
After defrosting is finished, the heating operation will recover automatically.
Anti-cold Air Function:

In HEAT mode, the indoor fan will not operate in order to prevent cold air blowing out
(within 2 minutes) if indoor heat exchanger doesnt reach a certain temperature under the
following three states:
1. Heating operation starts; 2. After Auto Defrosting is finished; 3.Heating at low temperature.
Rest Heat Blow

In the following situations, the indoor unit may still run for some time,
to blow out the rest heat of the indoor unit.
1. In HEAT mode, the temperature reaches the setting value, the compressor stops and the indoor fan still run for 60s.
2. In HEAT mode, if you turn off the unit, the compressor stops and the indoor fan still run for 10s.

The operating temperature range (outdoor temperature) for cooling only unit is 10~ 43
for heat pump unit is -15~48.
Tips for energy saving:

* Do not overcool or overheat.
Setting temperature at a moderate level helps energy saving.
* Cover windows with a blind or a curtain.
Blocking sunlight and air from outdoors is favorable for cooling (heating).
* Clean air filters once per two weeks.
Clogged air filters lead to inefficient operation and energy waste.
Tip for relative humidity:

Condensate water is likely to form at the air outlet if cooling or drying for a long time when the
relative humidity is more than 80% ( with doors and windows open).

Caution
1. The unit must only be installed by authorized service center according to local or government
regulations and in compliance with this manual .
2. Before installation, please contact with local authorized maintenance center. If the unit is not
installed by the authorized service center, the malfunction may not be solved due to discommodious contacts.
3. When removing the unit to the other place, please firstly contact with the local authorized
service center.
4. Warning: Before obtaining access to terminals, all supply circuits must be disconnected.
5. For appliances with type Y attachment, the instructions shall contain the substance of the
following. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
6. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
7. The temperature of refrigerant circuit will be high, please keep the interconnection cable away
from the copper tube.
8. The instructions shall state the substance of the following:

Proper installation site is vital for correct and efficient operation of the unit. Avoid the
following sites where:
strong heat sources, vapours, flammable gas or volatile liquids are emitted.
high-frequency electro-magnetic waves are generated by radio equipment, welders and medical equipment.
salt-laden air prevails (such as close to coastal areas).
the air is contaminated with industrial vapours and oils.
the air contains sulphures gas such as in hot spring zones.
corrosion or poor air quality exists.

Installation Site of Indoor Unit
1. The air inlet and outlet should be away from the obstructions. Ensure the air can be blown
through the whole room.
2. Select a site where the condensing water can be easily drained out, and where it is easily connected for outdoor unit.
3. Select a place where it is out of reach of children.
4. Select the place where the wall is strong enough to withstand the full weight and vibration of
the unit.
5. Be sure to leave enough space to allow access for routine maintenance. The installation site
should be 250cm or more above the floor.
6. Select a place about 1m or more away from TV set or any other electric appliance.
7. Select a place where the filter can be easily taken out.
8. Make sure that the indoor unit is installed in accordance with installation dimension instructions.
9. Do not use the unit in the laundry or by swimming pool etc.
Installation Site of Outdoor Unit

1. Select a site where noise and outflow air emitted by unit will not annoy neighbors.
2. Select a site where there is sufficient ventilation.
3. Select a site where there is no obstruction blocking the inlet and outlet.
4. The site should be able to withstand the full weight and vibration.
5. Select a dry place, but do not expose the unit to direct sunlight or strong wind.
6. Make sure that the outdoor unit is installed in accordance with the installation instructions, and is
convenient for maintenance and repair.
7. The height difference between indoor and outdoor units is within 5 m, and the length of the connecting tubing does not exceed 10 m.
8. Select a place where it is out of reach of children.
9. Select a place which will not block pedestrian passage and influence the city appearance.
Safety Precautions for Electric Appliances

1. A dedicated power supply circuit should be used in accordance with local electrical safety regulations.
2. Dont drag the power cord emphatically.
3. The unit should be reliably earthed and connected to the special earth device by the professionals.
4. The air switch must have the functions of magnetic tripping and heat tripping to prevent short
circuit and overload.
5. The minimum distance between the unit and combustive surface is 1.5m.
6. The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
7. An all-pole disconnection switch with a contact separation of at least 3mm in all poles should be
connected in fixed wiring. For models with a power plug, make sure the plug is within reach after
installation.
8. Including an air switch with suitable capacity, please note the following table. Air switch should
be included magnet buckle and heating buckle function, it can protect the circuitshort and overload. (Caution: please do not use the fuse only for protect the circuit)

Installation of Mounting Plate
1. Mounting plate should be installed horizontally. As the water trays outlet for the indoor unit is
two-way type, during installation, the indoor unit should slightly slant to water trays outlet for
smooth drainage of condenser water.
2. Fix the mounting plate on the wall with screws.
3. Be sure that the mounting plate has been fixed firmly enough to withstand about 60 kg. Meanwhile, the weight should be evenly shared by every screw.

Connecting Indoor and Outdoor Electric Wires

1. Open the front panel.
2. Remove the wiring cover and wire clamp. Make the power connection cord pass through the
hole at the back of indoor unit.
3. Connect and fix the power connection cord to the terminal board. (As shown in Fig.6)
4. Fix the power connection cord with wire clamp and reinstall wiring cover.
5. Reinstall the front panel.

The piping can be output from right, right rear, left

1. When routing the piping and wiring from the
left or right side of indoor unit, cut off the tailings from the chassis when necessary (As shown
in Fig.7)

Air Purging and Leakage Test

1. Connect charging hose of manifold valve to charge
end of low pressure valve (both high/low pressure
valves must be tightly shut).
2. Connect joint of charging hose to vacuum pump.
3. Fully open the handle of Lo manifold valve.
4. Open the vacuum pump for vacuumization. At the
beginning, slightly loosen joint nut of low pressure
valve to check if there is air coming inside. (If noise
of vacuum pump has been changed, the reading of
multimeter is 0) Then tighten the nut.
5. Keep vacuuming for more than 15mins and make
sure the reading of multi-meter is -1.0 105pa (-76cmHg).
6. Fully open high/low pressure valves.
7. Remove charging hose from charging end of low
pressure valve.
8. Tighten lid of low pressure valve. (As shown in
Fig.10)

During heating operation, the condensing
water and defrosting water should be drained
out reliably through the drain hose.
Install the outdoor drain connector in a 25
hole on the base plate and attach the drain
hose to the connector, so that the waste water formed in the outdoor unit can be drained

Funzione Back-lighting (retroilluminazione)

Lunit si accende per 4 s quando alimentata per la prima volta e 3 s successivamente.
Sostituzione delle batterie

1. Togliere il coperchio dalla parte posteriore del telecomando.
(Come indicato in figura)
2. Estrarre le batterie esauste.
3. Sostituirle con due batterie alcaline nuove del tipo AAA da1,5V, rispettando la polarit.
4. Rimontare il coperchio del vano batterie.
Note:
Quando si sostituiscono le batterie, non utilizzare batterie
vecchie o di diverso tipo, altrimenti si possono verificare
anomalie.
Se il telecomando non sar utilizzato per un lungo periodo
i tempo, estrarre le batterie per evitare il danneggiamento
dovuto a perdita di liquido dalle batterie.
Assicurarsi di utilizzare il telecomando entro la gamma di
ricezione.
Il telecomando va mantenuto ad almeno 1 m. di distanza da
televisori o impianti stereo.
Se il telecomando non funziona correttamente, provare a
rimuovere le batterie e reinserirle dopo 30 secondi. Se ancora
non funziona correttamente, sostituire le batterie.

Se il telecomando non si trova o danneggiato,
utilizzare linterruttore manuale presente sullunit
principale. In quel caso, lunit funzioner in
modalit AUTO e limpostazione della temperatura
o la velocit della ventola non potranno essere
modificate. Linterruttore manuale funziona nel
seguente modo:

Pulizia e manutenzione
Attenzione
Scollegare il cavo di alimentazione prima di procedere alla pulizia e alla manutenzione.
Non gettare acqua sulle unit per la pulizia, in quanto possono verificarsi scosse elettriche.
Asciugare le unit con un panno morbido e asciutto, o con un panno leggermente inumidito
con acqua o detergente (non con un liquido volatile come diluente o benzina).
Pulizia del pannello frontale

Rimuovere il pannello frontale. Immergere un panno in acqua pi fredda di 45C e asciugarlo. Poi
pulire la parte sporca del pannello frontale.
Nota: Non immergere il pannello frontale in acqua, per proteggere i componenti del microchip
e lo schema elettrico.
Pulizia del filtro aria (ogni 3 mesi)

1. Togliere il filtro dellaria
Sollevare il pannello frontale.
Tirare il filtro verso il basso per estrarlo,
come indicato in fig. (a, b).

2. Pulire il filtro dellaria.

Aspirare la polvere.
Se i filtri sono sporchi, lavarli con acqua tiepida
e detergente.
Asciugare i filtri al riparo dalla luce diretta.
Nota: Mai utilizzare acqua a temperatura superiore a 45C
per pulire i filtri, per non causare deformazioni o perdita di
colore.

Controlli prima delluso

1. Assicurarsi che nessun oggetto ostruisca le prese di uscita ed

2. Verificare che le batterie del telecomando siano state sostituite.
3. Accertarsi che il supporto dellunit esterna non sia danneggiato. Se danneggiato, rivolgersi ad un tecnico.
Manutenzione dopo luso

1. Interrompere lalimentazione
2. Pulire il filtro e le unit interna ed esterna.
3. Eliminare polvere e ostruzioni dallunit esterna.
4. Riverniciare i punti arrugginiti presenti sullunit esterna onde prevenire lestensione del
fenomeno.

Alcuni odori possono provenire dallunit interna. Possono derivare da odori presenti nel
locale (mobili, tabacco, ecc.) che sono stati aspirati dal condizionatore.
Rivolgersi al centro assistenza autorizzato se
tali odori persistono.
Rumore di acqua che scorre:
Questo rumore causato dal liquido refrigerante che scorre allinterno dellunit.
In modalit COOL fuoriesce nebbiolina.
In questa modalit, una leggera nebbiolina

pu fuoriuscire se la temperatura de locale e
il tasso di umidit sono molto elevati. Dopo
un periodo di tempo, la nebbiolina scomparir con la diminuzione della temperatura e
dellumidit.
Questo suono pu essere dovuto alla frizione

causata dallespansione o contrazione dei
pannello o di alter parti a causa della temperatura.

Il suono proviene della ventola o del rel del compressore che si avviano o si arrestano.

In modalit HEAT, quando la temperatura
dello scambiatore di calore interno molto
bassa, lunit non produce aria per impedire la
diffusione di aria fredda. (Entro 2 min)
In modalit HEAT, quando la temperatura esterna bassa o lumidit elevata, si forma
della brina sullo scambiatore esterno. Lunit si
sbrina automaticamente e lunit interna non
emette aria per 3-12 min.
Durante lo sbrinamento, pu fuoriuscire acqua o vapore.
In modalit DRY, la ventola interna si ferma
per 3-12 min. per evitare la vaporizzazione di
condensa.

Suggerimenti per il funzionamento

Raffreddamento
PRINCIPIO:
I condizionatori assorbono il calore presente nellaria e lo trasmettono allunit esterna in
modo da diminuire la temperatura ambiente. La capacit di raffreddamento aumenta o
diminuisce in base alla temperatura esterna.
FUNZIONE ANTIGELO:
Se lunit funziona in modalit COOL con temperatura ambiente bassa, si pu formare
ghiaccio sullo scambiatore di calore. Quando la temperatura dello scambiatore di calore
interno scende al di sotto dello zero, il compressore smette di funzionare per proteggere lunit.
Funzionamento del riscaldamento

PRINCIPIO:
* I condizionatori assorbono calore dallesterno e lo trasmetto allunit interna, aumentando la
temperatura interna. La capacit di riscaldamento minore se la temperatura esterna bassa.
SBRINAMENTO:
* Quando la temperatura esterna bassa ma lumidit elevata, si pu formare ghiaccio sullunit
esterna durante il funzionamento prolungato, incidendo sulla capacit di riscaldamento. Il condizionatore pu fermarsi durante lo sbrinamento.
* Durante lo sbrinamento automatico, i motori delle ventole dellunit interna ed esterna si fermano.
* Durante lo sbrinamento, la spia dellunit interna lampeggia, e dallunit pu fuoriuscire vapore. Questa non unanomalia.
* AL termine dello sbrinamento, la modalit di riscaldamento riprende automaticamente.
FUNZIONE ANTIRAFFREDDAMENTO:
In modalit HEAT, la ventola interna non funziona per impedire la fuoriuscita di aria fredda
(per 2 minuti) se lo scambiatore di calore interno on raggiunge una certa temperatura in una
delle 3 seguenti condizioni:
1. Inizia il riscaldamento; 2. Al termine dello sbrinamento automatico; 3. Riscaldamento a
bassa temperatura.
FLUSSO DARIA LEGGERO

Nelle seguenti condizioni, lunit interna pu emettere un flusso daria leggero e il deflettore
orizzontale ruoter in una certa posizione:
1. In modalit Heat, lunit accesa e il compressore non raggiunge la condizione di avvio.
2. In modalit HEAT, la temperatura raggiunge il valore impostato e il compressore si fermato
per circa 1 minuto.

Bloccare la luce del sole e laria esterna favorisce il raffrescamento
(o il riscaldamento).
* Pulire i filtri ogni due settimane.
I filtri intasati determinano un funzionamento inefficiente e uno spreco di energia.
SUGGERIMENTI PER LUMIDIT RELATIVA

La condensa si forma facilmente nella bocchetta di uscita dellaria se lunit funziona
in modalit raffreddamento o deumidificazione per un tempo prolungato con umidit
relativa superiore all80% (con porte e finestre aperte).

2. Prima dellinstallazione, rivolgersi al centro di manutenzione autorizzato. Se lunit non stata

sono generate onde elettromagnetiche da apparecchi radio, saldatori e dispositivi medici.
laria contiene un forte tenore di sali (ad esempio nelle zone costiere).
laria contaminata con vapori e oli industriali.
laria contiene gas solforosi come nelle zone termali.
la qualit dellaria scadente.

Montaggio in sito dellunit interna
1. La bocchetta di entrata e di uscita dellaria deve essere distante da ostruzioni. Accertarsi che laria
fresca possa essere diffusa in tutto lambiente.
2. Scegliere una posizione che consenta allacqua di condensa di essere facilmente scaricata e
allunit esterna di essere facilmente connessa.
3. Scegliere un luogo fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
4. Scegliere possibilmente un muro che regga il peso e le vibrazioni dellunit.
5. Accertarsi che vi sia spazio sufficiente per accedere alle operazioni di manutenzione ordinaria. Il
luogo di installazione deve essere ad almeno 250 cm dal suolo.
6. Scegliere una posizione ad almeno 1 m di distanza dal televisore o da ogni altro elettrodomestico.
7. Selezionare una posizione in cui sia facile estrarre il filtro.
8. Assicurarsi che linstallazione dellunit interna segua i requisiti dello schema delle dimensioni di
installazione.
9. Non utilizzare lunit in un ambiente lavanderia o in una piscine, ecc.
Luogo di installazione dellunit esterna

1. Scegliere un luogo in cui lemissione di rumore o aria non causino disturbo ai vicini.
2. Scegliere un luogo con una ventilazione sufficiente.
3. Scegliere un luogo privo di ostacoli per la presa e la mandata daria.
4. Il sito deve essere in grado di reggere il peso e le vibrazioni dellunit.
5. Scegliere un luogo asciutto, ma non esporre alla luce diretta del sole o a vento forte.
6. Assicurarsi lunit esterna sia installata seguendo le istruzioni di installazione, in modo adeguato
a manutenzione e riparazioni.
7. Il dislivello tra unit interna ed esterna deve essere contenuto in 10 m (modelli 9, 12, 18, 24K) e la
lunghezza delle tubazioni di collegamento non deve superare i 15 m (9K), 20 m (12K); per i modelli 18 e 24K non deve superare i 25 m.
8. Scegliere un luogo fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
9. Scegliere un luogo in cui lunit non blocchi il passaggio e non interferisca con il paesaggio urbano.
Precauzioni di sicurezza per apparecchi elettrici

1. Occorre utilizzare un circuito elettrico dedicato conforme alle normative vigenti in materia di
sicurezza elettrica.
2. Non tirare con forza il cavo di alimentazione.
3. Lunit deve essere collegata da professionisti in modo affidabile ad un cavo di massa speciale.
4. Linterruttore daria deve essere dotato delle funzioni di scatto magnetico e a calore per
proteggere lunit da corto circuiti e sovraccarichi.
5. La distanza minima tra lunit e una superficie combustibile deve essere di 1,5 m.
6. Lapparecchio deve essere installato conformemente alle norme nazionali in materia di cablaggio.
7. Si consiglia di collegare saldamente un interruttore onnipolare con separazione di contatti di
almeno 3 mm in tutti i poli. Nei modelli con presa di alimentazione, assicurarsi che la presa sia
raggiungibile dopo linstallazione.
8. Per inserire un interruttore daria di potenza adeguata, consultare la tabella seguente.
Linterruttore daria deve essere dotato delle funzioni di scatto magnetico e a calore per proteggere lunit da corto circuiti e sovraccarichi. (Attenzione: non usare un modello solo a fusibile per
la protezione del circuito)

Nota:
Accertarsi che conduttore elettrico, il neutro e il cavo di massa siano collegati correttamente. Nello
schema deve essere riportato uno schema elettrico affidabile.
Un collegamento inadeguato o scorretto potrebbe causare scosse elettriche o incendi.
Requisiti di messa a terra

1. Il condizionatore un dispositivo elettrico di tipo I. Accertarsi che lunit sia collegata in modo
affidabile a terra.
2. I cavi di colore giallo-verde presenti nel condizionatore sono cavi di messa a terra e non possono
pertanto essere utilizzati per altri scopi. La scorretta messa a terra pu essere causa di scosse
elettriche.
3. La resistenza della messa a terra deve risultare conforme alle norme nazionali.
4. La corrente utilizzata deve offrire un terminale di massa affidabile. Non collegare il cavo di messa
a terra con i seguenti:
tubo dellacqua
tubo del gas
tubo di scarico
ulteriori punti sconsigliati dal personale qualificato
5. Il modello e i valori nominali dei fusibili devono rispettare i valori riportati sul coperchio dei fusibili
o sulla relativa scheda PCB.

Installazione della staffa di fissaggio
1. Il montaggio della piastra deve essere effettuato orizzontalmente. Dato che luscita della vaschetta dellacqua dellunit interna bidirezionale, lunit interna dovrebbe essere inclinata leggermente verso il basso per facilitare lo svuotamento dellacqua di condensa dalla vaschetta.
2. Fissare la staffa di fissaggio al muro con delle viti.
3. Accertarsi che la staffa di fissaggio sia ancorata saldamente in modo da sostenere circa 60 kg. Il
peso deve essere suddiviso omogeneamente tra ciascuna vite.

Montaggio del tubo di scarico

1. Collegare il tubo di scarico al tubo esterno dellunit
interna. Legare la giunzione con nastro di gomma.
2. Inserire il tubo di scarico nel tubo isolante.
3. Avvolgere il tubo isolante con nastro di gomma per
impedire che si sposti. Inclinare leggermente il tubo
verso il basso per favorire lo scarico regolare della
condensa.
Nota: Il tubo isolante deve essere collegato in modo
affidabile al manicotto esterno del tubo esterno. Il
tubo di scarico deve essere inclinato leggermente verso il basso, senza piegature, rigonfiamenti o oscillazioni. Non collocare lo scarico direttamente nellacqua.

Collegare i cavi elettrici interni ed esterni

1. Aprire il pannello anteriore.
2. Rimuovere il coperchio del cablaggio come indicato alla Fig 6.
3. Sistemare il cavo elettrico di collegamento e il cavo di segnale attraverso il foro sul retro dellunit
interna.
4. Reinstallare il fissaggio del cavo e il coperchio del cablaggio.
5. Reinstallare il pannello frontale.
NOTA:
Tutti i cavi tra le unit interna ed esterna devono essere collegati da un elettricista
qualificato.
Il cablaggio elettrico deve essere installato completamente. Un errato collegamento pu essere
causa di guasti.
Serrare correttamente le viti dei terminali.
Dopo aver serrato le viti, tirare leggermente il cavo per accertarsi che sia ben serrato.
Accertarsi che le connessioni elettriche siano correttamente collegate a terra per impedire scosse
elettriche.
Accertarsi che le connessioni siano salde e le piastre di copertura sia reinstallate correttamente.
Uninstallazione errata pu causare incendi o scosse elettriche.

La tubazione pu essere pu essere raccordata
da destra, destra posteriore, sinistra, sinistra posteriore.
1. Quando si dispongono le tubazioni e i cavi da
sinistra a destra dellunit interna, tagliare la
parti eccedenti se necessario (come indicato alla
Fig. 7)
(1) Tagliare la parte finale 1 quando si raccorda solo limpianto elettrico;
(2) Tagliare le estremit 1 e 2 quando si raccordano sia il cablaggio che le tubazioni.
2. Estrarre la tubatura dallinvolucro, avvolgere i
tubi, i cavi elettrici e il tubo dellacqua con del
nastro isolante e inserirli nel foro. (Come indicato
nella Fig. 8)
3. Appendere le scanalature di sostegno dellunit
interna sulle linguette superiori presenti nella piastra di fissaggio e verificare se il tubo sufficientemente fermo. (Come indicato nella Fig. 9)
4. Il luogo di installazione deve essere ad almeno
250 cm dal suolo.
Installazione dei tubi di collegamento

1. Allineare il centro del dado del tubo con la relativa valvola.
2. Avvitare il dado a mano e quindi serrare con chiave e chiave dinamometrica, facendo riferimento alla tabella seguente:

Cablaggio elettrico
1. Smontare la maniglia sul lato destro dellunit
esterna.
2. Rimuovere il serrafilo. Collegare e fissare il cavo
elettrico di connessione al terminale della morsettiera.
3. Fissare il cavo elettrico di connessione con il serrafilo.
4. Assicurarsi che il cavo sia stato fissato bene.
5. Rimontare la maniglia.Nota: un cablaggio errato
potrebbe causare il malfunzionamento dei componenti elettrici. Dopo aver fissato il cavo, assicurarsi che si sia sufficiente spazio libero tra la connessione e il punto di fissaggio del cavo
conduttore.
NOTA:
Un cablaggio male eseguito pu causare malfunzionamento delle parti.

Spurgo dellaria e verifica delle perdite

1. Collegare la tubazione di carico della valvola del
collettore allestremit di carico della valvola a nassa
pressione (sia le valvole ad alta pressione che quelle
a bassa pressione devono essere ben chiuse).
2. Collegare il giunto della tubazione di carico alla
pompa a vuoto.
3. Aprire il rubinetto di bassa pressione della valvola
del collettore.
4. Aprire la pompa a vuoto per eseguire il vuoto. In
un primo momento allentare leggermente il dado
del giunto della valvola a bassa pressione per verificare leffettivo passaggio dellaria. (Se il rumore della
pompa a vuoto cambiato, il multimetro indica
0). Quindi serrare di nuovo il dado.
5. Eseguire il vuoto per pi di 15 minuti fino a che la
lettura del multimetro -105 pa (-76 cmHg).
6. Aprire completamente le valvole ad alta e bassa
pressione.
7. Rimuovere la tubazione di carico dallestremit di
carico della valvola a bassa pressione.
8. Richiudere bene il coperchio della valvola a bassa
pressione. (Come indicato nella Fig. 10)

Installare il tubo di scarico a gomito nel foro da 25
praticato nella base e unire il tubo di scarico al tubo a
gomito, in modo che lacqua di condensa che si forma
nellunit esterna possa essere drenata correttamente.
Il foro di diametro 25 deve essere collegato.
Il collegamento di altri fori deve essere determinato in
base alle condizioni effettive.

Funzionamento di prova
1. Prima del collaudo

(3). Le valvole di arresto dei tubi di collegamento dovrebbero essere aperte.
(4). Tutte le impurit, come residuati e fili devono essere rimosse dallunit.
2. Metodo di collaudo
(1). Alimentare lunit, premere il tasto ON/OFF del telecomando per metterla in funzione.
(2). Premere il tasto MODE per selezionare le modalit COOL, HEAT (lunit solo raffreddamento non disponibile), FAN per verificare se lunit funziona correttamente.
