a. A farewell speech

to be presented for a boss who is moving to a

multinational company

A very good morning I bid to our dedicated workers, staff members and not
forgetting our much respected Hp Company Manager, Mr Hamden Bin Abu Bakar.
As you all know, the reason why we are all gathered here today is to celebrate Mr
Hamden who will be leaving us. For your information, he has been promoted as the
assistant head manager of the multinational Apple Company. Let us give him a huge
round of applause.
As his personal assistant, I have made an effort to study a little bit on his life
background. Mr Hamden is the first son in his family who served as the most
important individual for his younger siblings after the death of his parents and his
eldest sister. Mr Hamden, as known, is a very responsible and hardworking leader.
He may look strict but he is a very generous and caring person. He does a lot of
charity work and donates a large sum of money to the MAKNA Association monthly.
Even in his dealings with us, the company workers, he has always been very
supportive and motivating which has brought our company success.
Ladies and gentleman,
As for his working experiences, things had never been smooth- sailing for our
beloved Mr Hamden. After his SPM, Mr Hamden persuades his studies in Computer
Engineering. At first, due to the recession, Mr Hamden had to work as technical
assistant in an unknown computer company. After two years, due to his dedication,
Mr Hamden was promoted to the secretarial pose and was in that position for
another four years. Following that, he was then promoted to the post of assistant
manager for two years and then, again, he was promoted as the company manager
of our Hp Company up till this February. His latest achievement is the sponsorship of
the pose as the assistant manager in the Apple Company.

Mr Hamden has contributed a lot to our company. He is like the spine bone of
our company which binds us together like super glue. Just to name some of his
contributions, the some obvious one would have to be the expansion of our
companys maintainance room which used to be small and inconvenient. Now thanks
to Mr Hamden, our companys maintainance room is more bigger and comfortable
for the use of our technicians.
Due to the time constrain, I would like to cut my speech short. Therefore, I,
Anbalagan Rajarethinam as the representative for all the workforces in our HP
Company would like to bid farewell to Mr Hamden. We hope that you would achieve
success in your new work place and gather more unforgettable experiences along
the way. Thank you.
