Director, IT Compliance / Mergers and Acquisitions

Responsible for the effort to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley act requirements for Constellations IT. Accountable for all
efforts to evaluate the technology aspects of power plant acquisitions. Responsible for integrating acquired power plant IT into
the Constellation infrastructure.
Key Accomplishment:
Successfully developed and managed the program to implement process and application changes in support of the
corporate Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort. The program included compliance in five business units. As a result, no IT
deficiencies were reported by the external auditors.
Led the effort to integrate the IT of an acquired nuclear power plant. Included SAP to Oracle Financials conversion, IT
desktops, networks, e-mail systems, and other IT infrastructure.
Led the effort to evaluate fossil plant acquisitions in the New England area.

Oversaw the corporate IT Infrastructure Department with a staff of over 200 employees and contractors; The IT functions
under my leadership included: networking; server and storage systems; help desk support center; voice applications and

Responsible for leading an IT infrastructure project valued at $25MM with a payback of 4 years.
Key Accomplishments:
Integrated 5 business unit technology infrastructure departments into one cohesive organization. Organizational
efficiencies saved the company $4MM per year.
Managed an IT infrastructure program that implemented new corporate wide desktops, network standards,
telecommunications, and server/storage infrastructure. The project completed on time and budget.
Successfully managed an annual capital budget of $40MM and an expense budget of $10MM.

CONSTELLATION POWER SOURCE Baltimore, MD
1997-2002
Developed software and scripts and implemented the trading floor IT infrastructure; Managed for all construction projects;
Led the IT Infrastructure department with an annual $5MM operational and $10MM capital budget.
Key Accomplishments:
Worked long hours to enable the new company to begin trading within six months of commencing. The trading
operation ultimately added $9B in revenue to the corporations income statement.
Implemented the IT infrastructure including phone turrets, remote access, networks, back-office and trading systems,
and storage repositories. All systems were fully redundant.
Successfully led the network infrastructure support team.
Handled service desk responsibilities including IT training, implemented Remedy, and desktop support.
Led the team that built a new trading floor. That project was completed on-time and within budget.
Designed and built a fully functional disaster recovery site. That site was used for six months after a flood disabled the
primary site in downtown Baltimore.
