Interview
In my interview I have tried to have three different categories of families.
Thus I have chosen seven adventist country side families, seven adventist urban
families, and six ortodox urban families. Most of them have at least one, and most
three children. While three of contry side adventist families have got three children
each one, in the town side, only one family has got three children, and the ortodox
families has none one three children. In fact, eight of them has only one child, another
eight has got two children, and four of them have got three children.
Usually, most of the first born babies were in the first three years of the
marriage, only in two families, the first born was after five, respectively, after seven
years from the marriage event. Also, most of children were breastfood, but in the
town side under a year, even under six months in the ortodox families.
Regarding the roles, mothers have the educational role, but sometimes they are
helped by their husbands, especially in the religious field, in the adventist families.
And also, while almost all families, both of parents have a job, usually the mother
prepares the food, and the father does the domesticities. This is not necessary
unmovable, because there are situations when the husband prepares food, especially
in the urban area. The food is prepared home, and in most of cases there are contry
side sources for vegetables or milk preparates.
The most dailly effective time together is in the evening for each family, both
for supper time, and for praying, reading, and for playing together. While for the
ortodox families there isnt a weekly well defined time together, for the adventist
families, the Sabath makes the diference. Annually, speaking, for the ortodox families
there are the two important holidays: The Passover and The Christmas, that help
family to be together, and to be happy. For the adventist families, usually, the Lord
Supper, the Winter holydays, and the summer vacation or visities of grandparents
have a special resonance for the entire family. Also, for almost all families, the
children birthday has a special place in their traditions.
Usually, the childrean from urban area have access to the computer and
internet much more than those who live on the country side, but in all cases, there is a
parental control both for time, and for choising of programs.

There is a big diference between the adventist and the ortodox families
regarding the way of teaching values. Ussually, for the adventist families, God is the
source of moral values, while for the ortodox children the values has a human, good
manners source. Also, the discipline is applied lacking children of their rights or
pleasures, or even through a superficial phisical punishment in some few cases.
Generally speaking, I didnt observe a coomon project of the families, only
few, but almost all families are focusing on children education and their good future,
even at least three of them, I think, have to build better husband-wife relationships.
