This letter is being sent to you in response to a notice sent to me on ________________.
With this letter I hereby formally request that you immediately CEASE and DESIST any
and all telephone calls immediately and that no telephone contact be made by your
offices to my home or to my place of employment. If your offices attempt any telephone
communication with me, including but not limited to, computer generated calls and calls
or correspondence sent to or with any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I
will have no choice but to file suit. All future communications with me MUST be done in
writing and sent to the address noted in this letter by the United States Postal Service.
I advise you strongly that you should endeavor to ensure that your records are in order
before I am forced to take legal action. This letter is a formal request to CEASE and
DESIST.
You are hereby instructed to cease all collection efforts immediately or face legal
sanctions under the Federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. Sections
1692c and 1692k, which is incorporated and made applicable to collection agencies such
as your company by the Rosenthal Collection Practices Act, California Civil Code
Section 1788.17.

In the interests of avoiding any legal action on my part I urge you to PLEASE MARK
YOUR FILES in accordance with the formal requests made in this letter and cease all
further telephone communications.
