1. INTRODUCTION
The proposed project is a construction of Projek Menaiktaraf Jalan Dan Jambatan Di
Sg.Nerok, Kota Tampan Air (Muara) Jalan Lenggong/Gerik, Daerah Hulu Perak,Perak Darul
Ridzuan. The construction period will complete in 1.5 year (18 month) times. The
Environmental Quality Report (EQR) is a requirement under condition of the document
construct as being carried out throughout the completion of the project must completed by
Shazeme Enterprise (M) Sdn. Bhd. as the main contractor for this proposed project.
The progress for overall of construction work for this project till August 2013 is about 95%
completed.

2. MONITORING PROGRAMME
2.1 Itemize inside B.Q is to conduct monthly of river water quality. The description
and location of the sampling station for the water sampling points was labelled
RW1 respectively.

The analysis of water samples is carries out by EWPT LABORATORY SERVICES

SDN. BHD. Which registered by Institute Kimia Malaysia (L/1029/2453/94).
Other accredited laboratories may also be engaged for the samples analysis as
and when required.

3.1 Water Quality

Water sampling from RW1 station location was carried out on 5th August
2013. The result of the sample analysed is shown in table 3.1

From the table 3.1 shown that the result of all parameter as being tested
is under DOE standart A limit and the limit of EPA Recommended for
Escherichia Coli in to the water quality is 235 count/ 100ml.
4. SUMMARY OF RESULTS AND RECOMMENDATION
The monitoring was conducted for a month of August 2013 shown that the
result for the sampling at river and silt trap outlet during construction
activities carried out at the proposed project site currently does not pose any
significant impact to the surrounding population and environment.
