PROJECT TOPIC:

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT IN MC-DONALD

Summary of the Project:

In this project, we will start with basic understanding of fast food industry and its operation process. The
project would mainly focus on Mc-Donald for its supply chain management practices. A deep and
complete study would be conducted on operational processes adopted by Mc-Donald, their different
business activities and supplier-distributor network and auditing system. We will also look into
techniques used to coordinate all these activities like procuring of raw material, technology used,
storage and transportation network etc. In addition to this, I am planning to actually visit the mc-donald
and observe the process and get some real time insights about the whole supply chain process. Finally,
we plan to do a SWOT analysis on the basis of our detailed study and devise some recommendations
that can be adopted to improve their SCM practices.

I will plan to visit once to understand their Supply chain and observe the process by ourselves. Also this
would help me to make some videos, capture photographs so as to include them in the report.
