I am writing this covering letter regarding the job vacancy available as graduate
consultant in the Integration Consultancy Company.
Coming from an entrepreneurial family, I have always been hearing different stories
about different challenges my father had to deal with in developing businesses (e.g.
lack of motivation in workforce, operational inefficiency, high debt, etc.). As a result,
I became interested in thinking about possible solutions to these problems too.
Therefore I moved to United Kingdom to pursue what I had a true affection for.
Knowing what I am looking for, I became keen on management consulting since the
very first year of my degree at Durham University. I attended a few events and career
fairs and spoke with guest speakers and people from different consultancy companies
to ensure what consultancy companies offer aligns with my passion. In order to
enhance my knowledge and gain a better understanding of consulting more than just
theories, in summer breaks, I started to do project consulting and working in strategic
and operations planning sectors of different companies [e.g. working as consultant for
Part DC company). Working in such positions, not only provided the opportunity to
explore different consulting activities, but also made me certain that I posses the
qualities and the competencies to work in a consultancy firm. It also made me realize
that consulting is not only about problem solving and being able to develop a
functional strategy, but it is also about establishing and maintaining a very close and
strong relationship with the clients.
In accordance with my interest and experience, I decided to continue my education
and therefore I attended CASS business school (City University London). In Cass
Business School, we have different marketing case studies and even real-time
consulting projects. These group projects have strengthened my teamwork and
collaboration abilities and also have given me a more realistic approach to business
issues. Managing to do different group projects simultaneously and meeting tight
deadlines have also equipped me with strong organisational skills.
As a member of CASS Consultancy society, I attend weekly meetings and sessions
with guest speakers from different firms and talk with them to gain a deeper
understanding of different aspects of being a consultant.
There are however, a number of reasons why I chose to apply for Integration
Consultancy in particular. A vast number of Integration Consultancys operations are
being undertaken in developing countries and emerging economies, which is very
well-aligned with my personal work experience and my background. Operating in
more than 40 counties in 5 different continents also gives me the chance to explore
different counties and become familiar with entirely new markets as well as offering
me a better understanding of global business.
Last but not least, the fact that the service Integration Consultancy offers is not only
limited to the design of the solutions but also involves implementations of them,
makes it very unique. To me, it means that Integration Consultancy does not simply
advise clients on possible options but analyse them in detail, and then prepares and
offers a very precise and personalized solution to clients.

Taking into account all of the evidence provided above, I believe I would make a
suitable candidate for this job at the Integration.
