FROM THE CONSISTORY
We heartily welcome all who are worshipping with us this Lord’s Day.
May the Lord give us all listening ears and bless His Word to our hearts.
 Today, Dr. David Murray will lead our services. Pastor Bilkes will be
serving the Pompton Plains FRC.
 There will be a Christmas service conducted by Pastor Bilkes on
Friday, December 25 at 9:30 AM. Sunday School program following.
 Next Sunday, Pastor Bilkes will conduct the services, D.V.
 There will be a New Year’s Eve service held on Thursday, December
31 at 7 PM. There will be a New Year’s Day service held on Friday,
January 1, at 9:30 AM. Pastor Bilkes will lead both of these services, D.V.
 The Sunday School and Catechism classes’ (Beginners –7 Grade) are
th
asked to meet upstairs this morning. There will be Christmas Program
practice today. The Psalter of the month is the Song of Simeon (3 & 4 and
5 & 6) Please review with your child(ren). There will be NO Sunday school
on Sunday, December 27.
 From the Deacons: Today, the boxes at the exits will be for the work of
Rev. Terry Atkinson with Mediterranean Mission.
 From the Deacons: Donation Envelopes: In an effort to make it more
convenient for members, the Deacons, knowing only the donation envelope
your number). Please discontinue using a prior year's envelopes beginning
in January since those not used for a year will be reassigned. Those that
picked up envelopes last year but don't have a mail slot can pick up their
donation envelopes from the Deacons. In January, after the close of the
year, the secretary knowing only the envelope number and summarized
amounts, not the name that goes with the envelope number, will put
receipts in a sealed envelope with the envelope number on the outside (as
per IRS regulations for tax deductions use checks or pre-numbered
donation envelopes). One of the Deacons, will add the name to the outside
and either mail the receipt or put in the mail slots. Those not yet using
donation envelopes can pick up envelopes from the Deacons, beginning in
January. May the Lord bless the gifts as we return a portion of the
blessings that God has given us. We appreciate the support for the
collections and commend you all to the throne of Grace.
 Would you like to help care for the children in our congregation? We'd
love to grow our list of Sunday nursery workers for next year. We are
looking for adult women as well as young girls eight years old and up. If
you would like to join us, or need more information, please contact Martha
