Introduction and Project Background

A Computer in Every Home is the dream that Bill Gate had before, now it happened,

that mean technologies keep improve in this era. A new word that can represent the improvement
of technologies is A Smartphone in Every Pocket. Smartphone nowadays mostly replace
computer, because it more mobility and more functional.
Xcode is a software that able for developer to design a Graphic User Interface to interact
with user. Besides that, it allows developer to coding to make the application to function as
developer wanted. In this assignment we formed a group of three members which is Ng Chung
Neng, aaaa, aaaa to create our mobile apps name Restaurant For You by Xcode.
Restaurant For You(RFY) is an location searcher application. This kind of application
will base on user requirement then suggest an solution to user. Example like Waze, user request
a shortest way to Mid Valley, then Waze will calculate the shortest way to Mid Valley and
suggest to user. In our application, user input some information about a restaurant or food like
chicken, then our application will gather the information of restaurant around location of user
then suggest some nice restaurant that relate by user requirement.

Expense cost is the cost that spends by user daily. Nowadays, expenses of travel around
by car are keeping increasing due to inflation rate increase, user are keep searching shortest way
and avoid to pay the toll to reach their place, with help of application , decision making become
more comprehensive.

Time Consuming
We always heard that time is money and that phrase are essentially true. Time passing

continuously and definitely will not wait for anyone. Therefore time is very important for user to
be concern when travel to a place. Thus, time consuming can reduce by an application suggest
the shortest way to avoid traffic jam and bring user to the restaurant choose by user.

Lack of Information
What To Eat is a question that always asked by a people when their finding a place to

feed them stomach. This question asked because information about restaurants by a user is very
less, they just keep hang out to the same place, day by day they become boring.

Sharing
Many users wanted to share their recommended nice restaurant to other, but it hard to

suggest the place by just say the name of restaurant, because there are so many restaurants could
be same name and same area. With the help of digital technologies, it provides coordination of
the location in unique digital form. So that user can get to the restaurant suggest by friend more
easily.

Objective
The improvement of peoples living standards and the development of the catering

industry have led to the emergence of the restaurant recommendation software. What are
advantages and characteristics of restaurant recommendation software? This may be question
that many people are wondering about.
To users, our software is not only an information consulting platform, but also a platform
where our users can gain some help for their decision-making and purchasing services. To
merchants, our software is a platform for promoting their services and a channel to turn online
visits into actual consumption. As to the promotion methods, there is group buying, preferential
activities and ranking publicity.
Our software can not only recommend the most popular nearby restaurant to users, but
also provide the shortest route to the restaurant. This brings convenience to users and merchants
as well, who can easily recommend their tasty food to consumers. After users experience the
restaurant service, they can post their comments so that other customers gain references.
The ultimate goal of the software is to provide a powerful tool for promoting the
efficiency of business operation, reducing operation cost, improving service quality and
simplifying the online promotion procedures of restaurants. At the same time, the senior
managers can gain accurate data from it immediately, with which they can improve their market
competitiveness and maximize their benefits.

Conclusion

Though our proposal may be a little complex, we are confident that we can provide the most
convenient and reliable restaurant recommendation software to our users. In our proposal, we
make it clear that we aim at successful operation of the software. Besides, we have provided the
statement of problems, goals, Gantt chart and workflow. We have formulated a schedule to
ensure that we can implement our proposal before the deadline. We believe that our software can
not only achieve successful operation, but also allow our users to try out it. If we can gain good
feedback, it means we make it.
