Make 64 squares in size given above for size jacket size desired. Steam to size desired before sewing together. Squares for small 4 , Med. 5, Large 5
Sew squares together as shown with the diagonal line indicating the direction of the squares for the back.
Sew the right front and left front as shown using half the chart . NOTE: a stealthy mattress stitch seam can be
made by inserting the needle into the side of the edges to be sewn together rather than from the top
through to the back, and wont show when the collar is turned back. (The collar is made when the tops of
the fronts are folded forward.)
Steam squares as needed to even up squares.
Sew the fronts to the back, working across 3 squares from sleeve edge leaving 2 squares open at back of
neck. Sew side seams.

Center front
Jacket Edging
Collars: Starting at neck edge shoulder seam and wrong side facing of Left front, work RSC across top and
down 2 squares of center front. (Where fronts will meet) End off.
Work RSC on Right front starting at center front and working up to neck edge and over to shoulder seam.
(Right side of RSC will be out when collar is turned back)
Body: Work around remainder of jacket from the right side in RSC.
Weave in all ends.
Sew fasteners to fronts.
The two horizontal lines represent where the fasteners go at the center of the fronts.
