3.2.5 Feedback
Expansion activities allow students to apply the knowledge they have gained in the
classroom to situations outside it. Expansion activities include out-of-class
observation assignments, in which the instructor asks students to find examples of
something or to use a strategy and then report feedback. Feedback allows
students to check their understanding of the lessons of topic. Feedback can be
done quickly at the end of class by asking students questions about the target
structures in small groups, once again giving students to chance to improve their
understanding on their own.
