Concept
The choice of source lamp will keep the look clean asked by the owner. The light source looks imperceptible
in the wall surrounding the artwork piece.
Choice of LED light source:

Design in accordance with ANSI/IESNA RP-30-96 standard.
The report on the Getty Villa case study prepared for the U.S. Department of Energys solid-state lighting
GATEWAY demonstration project summarizes some of the research findings on LED replacement lamps
from the GCI. Compared to earlier generation LED products, current warm white (27003000K) LEDs
deliver less of a spike in the short-wavelength (blue) region, resulting in filtered halogen and LED light
sources performing similarly in fading tests. LED light sources are one tool that curators and designers can
use to achieve the preservation targets for objects of art reducing power use by 83%.
Safety guidelines:
Use layers of metal screens in LED to reduce illumination levels to the precise target value on specific object
(20 footcandles).
Moderately susceptible, the painting should be kept at <200lux target value, to a maximum of 480 000 lux/h
year.
Dimming reduces the overall radiant energy transfer to the work of art.
Limiting ambient gallery illumination levels to 50 lux to optimize the display lifetime of the works. It is
possible to get acceptable color rendering at 50 lux (5 footcandles).

FOR GYPSUM BOARD CEILINGS

CM Track fixtures are designed to integrate into the narrow track slot. Enclosed fixture profile has a machined ring
and enclosed backcap design which reduces back spill
light onto the ceiling. Wallwash or object front end snoot
options are available which allow for lenses and accessories. The fixture utilizes an MR16 halogen lamp. CM fixtures can be used as accent lights to highlight objects
or to wash walls with spread lenses and wallwash snoots.

low voltage electronic transformer design which is completely concealed inside the centimeter wide track
opening above the ceiling plane. To power fixture, insert

The Lumination 1 x 4 suspended luminaire with Intrinsx technology is a
commercial pendant lighting fixture utilizing an advanced LED optical

CMH TRACK FIXTURE

ENCLOSED MRLUX

COMPATIBLE WITH LTGB and LTJT NULUX TRACK

CMH track fixtures are designed to work with 1 or 2 circuit

120V LTGB and LTJT NULUX track. This CMH enclosed fixture
profile has a machined lamp ring and enclosed backcap
design which eliminates back spill. Object front snoot is
removable via a twist and lock mechanism which allows for
easy relamping from below. Snoot is furnished with an
anodized specular parabolic reflector cone to maximize
light output. The fixture utilizes an energy efficient CMH MR16
lamp and ballast in either 20W or 39W. CMH fixtures are
fully adjustable with a 350 rotation and 2 direction tilt. CMH
track fixtures can be used as accent lights or to highlight
objects.

Overview
The Analog Photosensor is a system accessory for Greengate lighting control
systems. It allows control of lighting levels based on how much natural light
is present.
Operation
Photosensors use a lens to gather light energy and provide an electrical signal
to a controller device that is proportional to the measured light level. The
controller adjusts the artificial light contribution based on the light level
measurement. The sensor sensitivity is fixed, and based upon the sensor
range selected.
Installation
This system accessory will require mounting and wiring at the site. Outdoor
photosensors should be mounted on the roof facing north and not pointing at
any artificial light source. Indoor photosensors should be mounted in the space
they are controlling and located as to not have any direct artificial light
contribution. No adjustments are made at the photosensor. Switching
thresholds are set remotely at the controller or via software.
