Human Status in "Adamic" and "Abrahamic" Religions

Abstract:
Since 2.5 million years ago, the "Hominoids" started separating themselves from the
"Chimpanzees"; but they still maintained that "Basic Animalistic character of aggression,
violence, killing and even eating their own enemies; partially or totally".
Until some 10,000 years ago, when God Almighty sent his own "viceroy" or
"khalifah" to teach them some lessons in civilization.
The first "Khalifah" was "Adam" and his tradition continued in his family up to Noah
and "Abraham" and after him in his "Tribe" until the last Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.) and
his Descendants.
Thats what we call "Adamic" and "Abrahamic" religions.
The Holy Qur'an says: "Verily, Allah chose Adam and Noah and the Tribe of Abraham,
and the Tribe of Imran, to lead the mankind! Children, one of the other" (Holy Qur'an
3:33)

There was a time, some 2.5 million years ago, that mankind were living just like the
other animals; especially their own close cousins, the Chimpanzees, not only in "good looks"
but in the bad "deeds", too!
In those days, killing each other, and even eating each other whole (=cannibalism, a
term that was not invented, yet!) or in part, like eating "their enemies' hearts or livers, etc.
was considered "normal" not only in the primitive societies, but even among some fairly
developed people, like the Arabs before Islam, "Jahiliyyah" or the Age of Ignorance". It was
being practiced, until the Holy Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.), prohibit it! But, this wild
practices did not stop, until the liver of the Holy Prophet's own uncle, called "Hamza" was
eaten by his Meccan Enemies in the War of "Uhud"! (See the History of Islam, where the
wife of the Pagan Chieftain of Mecca, (=Abu Sofyan) by the name of "Hind" ate the liver of
"Hamza". And today some Arab fighters in Syria, called "Wahabbis" are eating the hearts of
their dead enemies!).
Going back to the early days of the human race, the tradition of killing the people,
eating them, and taking their possessions and properties, which included their "wives" and
children among others, was a rule, rather than an exception.

Those traditions continued and even got worse and bigger in scope, when the "Empires" like
"Assyria" were created upon the bodies and "skulls" of the countless human beings, who fell
victim to this "Human's inhuman traditions".
Even, the first world empire, being "Persia" was not immune to those atrocities. But
it was still better compared with Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, the Spartans, the Arabs, the
Huns, the Mongols , the Barbarians, the Vikings of Europe, the British, the French, the
Germans, the Italians, the Soviets, the Chinese and the Pol Pots of the Communist
Cambodia, and now the only "Super Empire called America".
Adam, God's own Caliph
Going back, once more, way back when mankind was living as "hunters, gatherers"
(and that includes "Head Hunters" from Africa to South East Asia, and to the Americas), the
story was very "animalistic" according to the Holy Books of the Abrahamic Religions (i.e. the
Old Testament, the New Testament and the Holy Qur'an). Because of so many atrocities that
were committed by the "primitive Man" there came a time that finally the human beings
were fed-up with their own wild ways of life; then God Almighty decided to send his own
"representative" or as the Holy Qur'an calls him "Khalifah of Allah on the earth", to open the
First school of "Human Training". (See the full story in the Old Testament/Book of Genesis;
as well as in the Holy Qur'an/Chapter 2/Verses 30-102).
The first teacher of that "school" was called "Adam", who had to learn his own
lesson, the hard way, by the first test and "failure". (See the story of Adam and Eve in the
Holy Scriptures).
When he learned his lessons (=Test came before teaching!) then he was sent as the
first "Teacher"/ Guru (not the first "Human being" as many have mistaken him to be!( For
details, see: Dr. Yadollah Sahabi /19052002/ of Irans "Quran&CreationofHumanBeing
" Tehran University/1996).
This "schooling" and its first teacher (Known as "Khalifatullah in Islam") took place
some 10,000 years ago, only!
The legends of the Ancient Persians (See "Shah Nameh" by Ferdausi) as well as those
of the Mesopotamians/Babylonians, Sumerians, Egyptians, Greeks, Chinese, Indians , the
Aztecs of Mexico, Peru, etc. are almost unanimous on this same topic, albeit with different
names, colors and locations.
The First Rule of Equality Before Law
With the coming of "Adam and Eve" and their children, the first law of protecting
lives, was introduced to the "wild man", to behave in a civilized manner. And when,
unfortunately, one of Adams own sons called "Abel" was murdered by his own brother,
called "Cain", God of the Universe sent his "First Law" for human protection as well as crime
prevention. That law is known in the Abrahamic Religions as "Thou shall not kill." It also

states that he who kills an innocent person, shall himself be killed, as per the rule of "Ayin
Takhat Ayin" the Hebrew origin of the "An eye for an eye!". This law was later adopted by
the Romans and the Western societies as the "Lex Talionis" a Latin term for the "Rule of
Retaliation". In 570 A.D. when Islam appeared in Arabia, it maintained many laws of
"Taurah" including the "Lex Taliones" which was called "Qisas" Law, in Islam.
This law has saved more human lives than anybody could ever count, the opposition
of many so called "intellectuals" no withstanding!
For the first time in history, "man" became accountable before men and God, for
what he did to his own "Brethren in Humanity".
Step by step, from the "Murder of Abel, in the hands of his own brother Cain" it
made the "mankind" answerable for his crimes. The more religions of "Adamic" and later
"Abrahamic" origin spread throughout the world, the more the "Law that controlled
fratricide "in the human societies, was implemented among the primitives as well as the
more civilized men.
Some Examples from the Holy Books
While, the "Ten Commandments of Moses" are well known to many Westerners,
what is not very well known to them is the Qur'anic instructions that "Equates the killing of
one innocent person with the killing of all "the humanity" and vice versa. Take note of the
following rule which was revealed after the murder of Abel, in the hands of his own brother,
Cain: "And after this/for this reason/we wrote (=law) to the Israelites that anyone who kills
another person, without him being a murderer or "corrupt in the society" it's as if he had
murdered the entire humanity; and anyone who saves one life, it's as if he had saved the
entire humanity". (Holy Qur'an 5:32)
The Philosophy of "Humanism"
After the Renaissance in Europe (14th Century A.D.), an anti-religion and anti-god
philosophy was developed, which made "man" an absolute focus of attention, replacing any
other values, including morality, justice, God, Religion, etc.
In this philosophy, "man" took the central place in the universe, and therefore, the
"Individual's views and values" became paramount to any other values, rules, laws and
interest of the society. Because the "individual" (and not the society, and by extension the
religion) became the "Center of the universe" therefore "man" ended up as "god" even for
those who did not believe in any god, and did not like god!
This being the case, all the laws in the "Abrahamic," and "Adamic" religions, (that
were symbolized in the "Ten Commandments of Moses", especially the law of retaliation,
which the Holy Qur'an called as "protecting the life of the human society")were denounced
as "invalid"/inhumane/Barbaric, etc. Under the so called "Humanist Philosophy" no human
being must be killed, period! Even if it is for the crime of killing another person or even

millions of people! So, the Hitlers, the Stalins, the Pol Pots, the Saddams, or going back in
history the Genghis Khans and Tamerlane, etc. could only be "tried, to prove guilty beyond
any reasonable doubts, and if they did not have a good/read "greedy" /lawyer, and they
were convicted finally, the maximum punishment for the mass murderers and butchers of
millions of human beings, would only be a "life time, with free board and lodging",
something that many "homeless and hungry people in the streets , dont get!" Just because
they dont know how to commit crimes.
So, this philosophy of "Humanism" became so "ultra-humane" that it was more
concerned with the comforts of the "victimizers" rather than their "victims".
They even found a well known sympathizer like Mahatma Gandhi (1869 1948), who
was also against the law of retaliation, and once he even said: "If the rule of an eye for an
eye would be practiced, then half of the mankind would go blind!"
But, with due respect to the "Mahatma" we have now made more "blinds" in the
world, and countless jails full to over flowing, in the U.S.A. and many other western
countries. It has turned the American society into a "Wild, wild West" that is used to be in
the 18th century, where almost everybody is armed to the teeth, like a "policeman" and yet,
nobody is safe from the murderers and rapists, even in the school campuses and the
shopping malls or the offices or even at the military camps!
Mexico is Even Worse
Next door to America is Mexico, with its rampant "kidnappings" murders and rapes.
It's so out of the control, that in just one year(=2013) more than 50,000 people were killed
by the criminal syndicates, drug mafia , kidnappers and murderers, but not even one
murderer faced the "punishment that he brought upon his victims"! In other words, the
criminals were "rewarded with free board and lodging" while the victims were not even
cared for, to be buried with dignity, by the state authorities!
So, where is the "crime and punishment" of the classic Russian writer Fyodor
Dostoyevsky (1821 1881) the punishment if any, did not match the crimes, at all! And
thats why we are losing thousands upon thousands of good and law abiding citizens, to the
criminal gangs (including the communist "gangs of four") all around the world.
The Law Must Punish Equal to the Crime
If we looked at different societies, we could see that based on the statistics,
wherever the capital punishment exists for the heinous crimes, the rate of the heinous
crime per capita is lower than those places which don't apply the death penalty. Just look at
the traditional societies like "Saudi Arabia", Kuwait and other similar states, and compare
their crime rates with the so called developed countries "like the Americas (Latin America,
and even North America, which has "Capital punishment in some states", but even then, it

takes a life time to implement it, and the chances of the criminals dying of "overeating" and
"Free board and lodging" is more than their dying in an electric chair!")
Conclusion
While the "Abrahamic"/"Adamic" religions value every person "as the whole
mankind" they also consider the murderer of one man "as the murderer of all humanity";
But, the "Humanistic" schools of thought do the exact opposite, all in the name of the
"Human Rights" as if only the "criminals" were "Humans" and not their "victims", who,
according to the Darwinian theory (as well as " Friedrich Nietzsche" philosophy, and the
Muslim Philosopher " Abul Ala Al-Maarri ") deserved to die, just because they "could not
survive, or they were not strong enough to defend themselves!--- not "fit" as the theory of
the "survival of the fittest" has opined!
Thus we can easily conclude that:
"Some 10,000 years after the first "Kindergarten" and later the "High School" of the
Abrahamic religions opened their doors, to teach mankind to stop "Head hunting", the
human society is back to where it began! And they may just destroy themselves by those
un-checked murders, until there is no one left to murder, anymore!"
A classic example of "History repeats itself" and what goes around comes around!"
