History
The ritish Land Rover Defender ancestry datesback to 1948, when
Series II and III and in 1983 the names Land Rover 90 and 110
the brothers Spencer and Maurice Wi lks presented the first Land

The main armament of LRD SOV is composed of a DShK 38/46 12,7 mm heavy
machine-gun or an AGS-17 30 mm automatic grenade launcher. The crew can also
use PKB 7.62 mm light machine-gun which
is situated in the weapon holder near the
front-seat passenger, an RPG-75 light antitank weapon and personal weapons such

Land Rover Defender 110 SWs of Rescue Battalions pictured in different modifications. The main distinguishing mark of Rescue
Battalions is a blue triangle in an orange field . Older Defenders were
delivered to the ACR in the khaki colour and only this symbol was
added on. Later the new vehicles were already delivered painted
orange.
