Child Vaccine Proposal
The topic that I have chosen to write about is the necessity of child vaccinations. Children
in todays generation have been required to have certain vaccinations shortly after birth up until
late adolescent age. Many of these vaccinations on children at such a young age are causing
serious health risks. Are a numerous amount of vaccinations for children at such a young age
necessary? I hope to inform the reader of my paper enough to be able to make a confident answer
to that question.
I chose this topic over many others because of the fact that I am very uneducated about
the issue. I know my opinion and my stance on whether children should be vaccinated, but I
want to be able to know the science behind why. This issue compels me because I feel very
strongly about it and it disturbs me that it is over looked and taken lightly. I want to be able to
educate more people on this issue.
I can say that I already know that many of the vaccinations given to children shortly after
birth cause many health problems such as autism and ADHD. I know that it is very dangerous to
put many vaccines into a young childs body at one time and that society should recognize it as a
serious health issue.
I need to learn more about what other negative health effects it has on children and why. I
need to learn the specifics behind what is causing such serious health problems and how it is

doing so. I also need to learn why America finds it so necessary to encourage or force parents to
inject their children with many of these vaccines.
What I need to know is: What ingredient makes these children develop long-term health
risks? Why is it so encouraged to get children vaccinated? What about the vaccine(s) is bad?
What about the vaccine(s) is good? What are the specific health problems that are caused by the
vaccine? How can this issue be better promoted? Why are there people who know about the
risks, but no information about it? Why hasnt the problem been fixed? How can the problem be
fixed? Are vaccines in general necessary?
I think many of the answers that I will find will be from articles, government sites, and
documentaries. I feel that it will be difficult to answer the question of Why hasnt the problem
been stopped or publicized?
If I acquire a tremendous amount of results and have to narrow my topic, I will probably
pick a specific country to narrow down the area and if I have to go even further than that, then I
will narrow it down to the state of North Carolina. I dont feel that I will have to narrow my topic
down but if I do, then it will most likely be to a specific state. If I find little to no information on
my topic, then I will open up my topic by concentrated on the issue as a worldwide issue and use
different countries as a comparison to each other.
My main target audience would be parents because of the safety of their child being
jeopardized. But I also feel that I dont have a set target audience because since it effects only
children, I feel that everyone will be concerned not only in the sense of being a parent, but in the
sense of being an aunt or uncle, grandma or grandpa, sister or brother. Almost everyone can
relate to a child within his or her family. Secondly I feel that children are our nations future and
most people are concerned with our future and who will be in charge of that future. There are

very patriotic people in this nation and they are concerned about who will be running the country
in the future. No American citizen wants to put the countrys future in any jeopardy, especially
as far as health risks goes. Children have an effect on nearly every American whether it is
because of relation, or because of the countrys future standing and safety.
