FBI warns of threats to

With the threat of attacks against service members

looming, military personnel, veterans and their families are being told to exercise caution.
Over the weekend, the FBI warned the military
about threats from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, also known as ISIL, against service members. The
warning urged individuals to guard their social media
accounts carefully to avoid attracting attention from
extremists.
ISILs September call for assaults against military,
law enforcement and government workers could motivate extremists to carry out attacks in the U.S., the
warning said. There have been no direct attacks to date.
Terrorists like icons, said John Camiskey, director
of the Homeland Security program at Monmouth University. Their targeting methodology is typical and deliberate. Any U.S. serviceman or -woman is a symbol of
(American) imperialism.
Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck is operating normally, but staff are urging sailors to be vigilant and aware of their surroundings all the time, said
Beth Baker, a spokeswoman for Navy Region Mid-Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia.
The Navy, like all services, has an entire operational security support team that works on these types of
things, Baker said. They work to remind sailors and
their families to be informed about the risks.

BRICK Sometimes, police are really lucky. And suspects, well ... theyre just not.
Jesse Cutchin, a 32-year-old Delaware man, was arrested after his wallet was found next to $17,000 worth
of stolen goods, including collectible coins, handguns,
jewelry and electronics that were stashed in the woods,
police said.
The items belonged to a West Veterans Highway
family who returned home about 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving night and found their house lights on and their belongings ransacked, police said.
Police said they found the familys belongings in the
woods after searching the area where Cutchin had been
seen. And next to the stolen goods, police said, they
found Cutchins wallet.
The wallet then led police to a home in the area
where Cutchin and his wife, Tamara, 30, were staying,
police said.
Officers also found several hypodermic needles, 46
