Additional Reporting
All contributions received shall be disclosed on
the website within 5 business days after
deposit, together with the name, address, and
occupation of the donor. All expenditures by
the organization shall be individually disclosed
on the website within 5 business days after
being made.
When to File
Each office holder or candidate must file form
DS-DE 102 within 5 days after he or she directly
or indirectly solicits, causes to be solicited, or
accepts any contribution on behalf of a 527 or
501(c)(4) organization. An office holder or
candidate is required to file this form only once
for each organization.

Resignation or Removal
IMPORTANT: When a campaign treasurer
resigns or is removed by the candidate, a copy
of the letter of resignation or removal must be
filed with the filing officer.
A campaign treasurer or deputy treasurer can

Candidates for statewide office (Governor,
Cabinet, and Supreme Court Justice) may
obtain and use credit cards for travel-related
campaign expenditures if the following
conditions are met:

Unauthorized Contributions
Any contribution received by a candidate with
opposition in an election or by the campaign
treasurer or deputy campaign treasurer on the
day of that election or less than five days prior
to the day of the election must be returned to
the contributor and may not be used or
expended by or on behalf of the candidate.

Anonymous Contributions
When a candidate receives an anonymous
contribution it must be reported on the
candidate's campaign treasurer's report as an
anonymous contribution. A letter should be
submitted to the filing officer explaining the
circumstances surrounding the acceptance of
the anonymous contribution.

Money;
Cash Contributions
A candidate may not accept an aggregate cash
contribution or contribution by means of a
cashiers check from the same contributor in
excess of $50 per election. A money order or
travelers check is not considered cash.
Loans
Loans are considered contributions and are
subject to contribution limitations. Loans to or
from each person or political committee must
be reported together with names, addresses,
occupations, and principal places of business, if
any, of the lenders and endorsers, including the
date and amount of each loan on the campaign
treasurers report.
Foreign Contributions
Federal law prohibits contributions from
foreign nationals to any federal, state, or local
