STILL LIFE

A big red tomato, one pumpkin, one capsicum, one lemon, a cutting board and a knife.

composition. Cut part way into the lemon with the knife and leave it arranged there.

grapes, a full plate and a knife. Cut the papaya into half and place it on the plate. Rest the
knife on the papaya at an angle. Use off white drape for background and a deep brown
drape for the foreground

Place the soap in front of the bucket so the label is clearly visible. Place the crumpled cloth

the objects. The tea cozy can form the background of the study.
A school bag, a water bottle, 2 books , a pen stand with few pens and pencils and a suitable
drapery for the background.

A medium sized suitcase with a couple of travel sticker on it. A small air bag with shoulder
straps/handles, an outdoor jacket and an unopened umbrella. Place the suitcase on the
floor. The air bag should be put in front of t. the jacket should be draped over the side of the
large suitcase and the umbrella should be propped up against the luggage at a suitable
angle.
A pair of jeans, a shirt, a shoebox of branded footwear, a scarf, a tie in a box, a large
polythene plastic shopping bag and 2 large paper shopping bags. 3 bags against the
backdrop, Place clothing together in front of the shoebox. The scarf hanging out of one of
the plastic bag.
A table calendar, a blue pottery vase, a piece of beautiful sculpture in any medium, a mobile
phone, a pen, a small writing pad and any simple flower available. The pottery with the
flower to place partially covering the calendar. Sculpture next to the vase.

A bowl of fruits with a chequered table cloth

A slice of cake, two small buns, a dinner plate, a bottle of jam, a glass of water, a colourful
table cloth- spread the table cloth and place the dinner plate with the slice of cake and buns
on it. Stand the bottle of jam and the glass of milk to the other side of the plate.

the stool on one side of the chair. Keep the books on the stool with the glass of water on top
of them.

NATURE STUDY
Each candidate can be given any one fruit { lemon,orange,guava,apple} along with its
stem and two or three leaves
Do a study of a Money Plant growing on a moss stick in a pot.

A detailed study of a heliconia with a flower in a pot. Candidates should draw and
paint the plant from sight in relation to its natural background.
Each candidate must be provided with a spray of Sunflower or Chrysanthemum flowers
with some leaves and two buds.
A detailed study of a dahlia/zinnia flowers with some leaves and a bud or 2
A detailed study of canna or phlox
A detailed study of pooetd fern. The fish bone or any other profuse fine leaved variety
can be used.
A detailed study of 2 single red hibiscus with few leaves.
Draw and paint any tree on the campus sitting outdoors
A detailed study of a creeper with flowers in location.
A detailed study of a pineapple
A detailed study of pansy or similar flower
A detailed study of a corn
A detailed study of a 10 inch stem of tuberose with few buds , flowers and leaves
A detailed study of a rubber plant from sight in relation to its natural background
A healthy stem of a colorful croton plant - special attention to be paid to the character
of the leaves.
A detailed study should be made of 2 or 3 poinsettia stems with a few leaves.
