hits of the '80s, '90s and today are not exactly my jam, a crowd-pleasing comedy with a
few unexpected subversive moments can be. It would take a misanthrope of the highest
order to dislike 'Pitch Perfect,' preposterous and predictable though it may be. College
student Beca (Anna Kendrick) knows she does not want to be part of a clique, but that's
exactly where she finds herself after arriving at her new school. Thrust in among mean
gals, nice gals and just plain weird gals, Beca finds that the only thing they have in
common is how well they sing together. She takes the women of the group out of their
comfort zone of traditional arrangements and into a world of amazing harmonic
combinations in a fight to the top of college music competitions. Youre going to love it

Pitch Perfect is a 2012 American musical comedy film directed by Jason Moore
.Featuring an ensemble cast, including Anna Kendrick, Skylar Astin,Rebel Wilson, Anna
Camp, Brittany Snow, Ester Dean, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Adam DeVine, with John
Michael Higgins, and Elizabeth Banks, the plot follows a college women's a cappella group,
The Barden Bellas, as they compete against another a cappella group from their college
to win Nationals. The film is loosely adapted from Mickey Rapkin's non-fiction book,
titled Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory. Filming concluded in
December 2011, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The film premiered in Los Angeles on
September 24, 2012. Released on September 28, 2012, in the United States, the film
met with positive reviews from critics. It became a sleeper hit and earned over $113
million worldwide, becoming the second highest grossing music comedy film,
behind School of Rock.
Beca is that girl who'd rather listen to what's coming out of her headphones than
what's coming out of you. Arriving at her new college, she finds herself not right for any
clique but somehow is muscled into one that she never would have picked on her own:
alongside mean girls, sweet girls and weird girls whose only thing in common is how good
they sound when they sing together. When Beca takes this acoustic singing group (THE
BARDEN BELLAS) out of their world of traditional arrangements and perfect harmonies
into all-new mash-ups, they fight to climb their way to the top of the cutthroat world of
college a cappella. This could wind up either the coolest thing they'll ever do or the most
insane, and it will probably be a little of both.

The Barden Bellas are Anna Kendrick as Beca Mitchell, a reclusive and
rebellious Barden freshman who wants to pursue a music career; she joins the Barden
Bellas to appease her father and finds herself being caught up in their world. Anna
Camp as Aubrey Posen, the uptight and traditionalist co-leader of the Bellas; when she
vomited at Nationals the previous year, she ruined the Bellas' chance at winning. She is
constantly critical and insists that The Bellas use the same set list the Bellas have been
using for years. Brittany Snow as Chloe Beale, the kinder and more civil co-leader of
the Bellas, whose attempts to get Aubrey to listen to Beca's suggestions get ignored.
Chloe gets "nodes" but continues to sing when she discovers she could sing in a
substantially lower tessitura following the surgery. Rebel Wilson as Patricia "Fat Amy", a
comedic and eccentric member of the Bellas from Tasmania. Ester Dean as Cynthia-Rose
Adams. Alexis Knapp as Stacie Conrad, a highly sexually-driven member of the Bellas.
Hana Mae Lee as Lilly Onakuramara, a strange member of the Bellas who speaks too
quietly to be heard but is later revealed to be a talented beatboxer. Kelly Alice Jakle as
Jessica, a bubbly yet absent-minded member of the Bellas. Wanetah Walmsley as
Denise, a member of the Bellas.Shelley Regner as Ashley, a member of the Bellas who is
also a beatboxer. The Treblemakers are Skylar Astin as Jesse Swanson, an outgoing
Barden freshman who hopes to one day become a film score composer due to his great
love for films. He joins the Barden Treblemakers. Ben Platt as Benji Applebaum, Jesse's
nerdy roommate and an illusionist, who is a fan of the Treblemakers. He later joins the
group after Bumper loses his spot as team leader. Adam DeVine as Bumper Allen, the
egotistical leader of the Treblemakers. Utkarsh Ambudkar as Donald, Bumper's righthand man, who beatboxes, raps, and is a main vocalist. Michael Viruet as Unicycle, a
member of the Treblemakers. David Del Rio as Kolio, a member of the Treblemakers and
was one the one responsible for throwing a burrito at Fat Amy. Gregory Gorenc as Greg
,Wes Lagarde as "Hat", Steven Bailey as Steven, Brian Silver as Brian, and Michael Anaya
as Michael, members of the Treblemakers.

Pitch Perfect is a musical comedy film. The casts and the music were perfect.
The music was perfectly mashed up and it is very appropriate to the singers and the
casts. Some songs like Please Dont Stop The Music by The Treblemakers, The Cup Song
by Anna Kendrick played as Beca ,the Riff Off: Mickey/Like A Virgin/Hit Me With Your
Best Shot/S&M/Let's Talk About Sex/I'll Make Love To You/Feels Like The First
Time/No Diggity" (The Barden Bellas) (The Treblemakers), . "Trebles Finals: Bright
Lights Bigger City/Magic" (The Treblemakers) and "Bellas Finals: Price Tag/Don't You

(Forget About Me)/Give Me Everything/Just The Way You Are/Party In The

U.S.A./Turn The Beat Around" are my favorite. Especially, the Cup songs played by
Anna Kendrick as Beca, we all know that its really hard to do. Playing cups and singing
simultaneously.. She did that live and in real time. And The Riff Off the songs that used
to remix are perfect. It sounds so nice! That was a cool arrangement based on the lyrics
of each particular song. All in all the songs are perfectly arranged! The music was so
cool!

Pitch Perfect was cool! You should watch this ACA-MAZING movie! This
movie can make you dance, sing and laugh! This movie can make you fall in love- fall in love
into the casts and songs. This movie can make your toe tapped! This movie can make your
eyes be wider and your ears be clearer! Im recommending this movie to all teens and
adults out there! But,Parents need to know that Pitch Perfect -- a winning musical
comedy about a fiercely independent college student -- will give teens (and adults) plenty
to like. Expect some strong language ("s--t," "bitch," "d--k," and one use of "f--k"), drug
references, and underage drinking (though it's not heavily emphasized). There's also
some kissing and lots of sexual innuendo and some sexual discussion, plus several jokes
about a lesbian character's attraction to other women in the group. Although the young
women portrayed here are, for the most part, strong and confident, sometimes a
shaming word, "slut," is used to refer to them.Watch this and youre going to get a
PITCH SLAPPED. Because this ACA-MAZING movie is PITCH PERFECT!
