SECURITY COMITTEE REPORT

Crimes In Community: ARer extensive professional
police work on 10-3-14, I received a call from Ocer
Wilson and texts from Major Lloyd about 7:30 PM to
announce that the fugive was caught in the Hollywood Secon of College Park. The suspect made the
mistake of using his cell phone to call his brother to
transport him out of the area and the police idened
him with the GPS tracking system. Ocer Wilson and
Major Lloyd both thank our community for being
aware, calling 911, and also idenfying the criminal. This was a big factor in helping to capture this
man. The Security Commi:ee also thanks the community for your awareness, and for your kind and encouraging words to the Security Commi:ee. I am awaing
answers from Major Lloyd concerning the status on
stolen property. I thanked the PG County Police and
Detecves for their excellent police work.

The Architectural Control & Compliance Commi:ee (ACCC) has received, and approved, many requests for installa

With this in mind, the ACCC will no longer require prior approval for installaon of roof-mounted solar

Heres a tip from Councilwoman Mary Lehman and your Traffic Committee
If snow is predicted, please remember to park your car in the driveway if at all possible. If you
must park on the street park only on the side of the street with even numbered addresses.
When there are cars parked on both sides of the road, the snow plows can't get through on narrow
streets or, at best, can only clear one travel lane.
