Beth Hammett

Flipped learning is a pedagogical approach in which direct instruction

moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the
resulting group space is transformed into a dynamic, interactive learning
environment where the educator guides students as they apply concepts and
engage creatively in the subject matter.

Student Testimonials
It helped me to understand materials better. I got to
watch the lectures over and over again. I liked the
[virtual] coach who helped me. English is hard for me, so
this really helped!

Elena

I could do the work anywhereat my job or home. I

like being able to see it on my tablet. The worst part
was since I couldnt beat it [the system] I had to learn
the materials!

Teacher Testimonials
Flipping the classroom has transformed my class from a lecturetype forum into an interactive learning environment.

Flipping the classroom enables me to better

understand whether students are understanding the
material that is presented to them because there is
more time to interact with them.
