Within the MYP, teachers will ensure that, for each student,
they make several judgments against each criterion per
semester, while within the DP, teachers provide a variety
of assessments reflecting specific categories and
weightings (DP) as established by departments.
Specific Assessment Calendars per grade level (MYP and
DP), along with grade level Homework Calendars allow
teachers to determine the type and amount being assigned,
so as to plan accordingly.
For homework, teachers of Grades 6 to 8 will indicate
homework through their Veracross Gradebook; for High
School students, grades 9 to 12, teachers will indicate
homework via the teachers class Website and
Announcement section of Veracross, and/or through in-class
announcements. See Homework Policy for further details
concerning the nature and purpose of homework.
