EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF BIO-BUSSINESS PLAN

Quality with noble welfare..

INTRODUCTION:With the current status of our country and her global standing in the world, the period is not so
far that we will surely be a developed nation. But thinking of the scenario when we stand tall
with all luxury amenities in hand, but even unable to fulfil our everlasting demand of Petrol
,Diesel and other essential oils, fills us with pity for our country. Thus, our sole aim is to utilise
the untapped potential our country herself has, so far been highly unutilised or negligibly
utilised.
Henceforth, we are looking forward to come up with our Business Concern under the name
BIOPEER LIFE-LINE LTD. (BLLL).The main motive of our company is: To provide our
common men not only with alternative solutions of scarce resources like Diesel , Petrol etc.,
but in addition, also the able and efficient removal of unwanted wastes and bio-hazardous
substances from their nearby localty (on fixed cost-to-service basis) . In addition, spreading the
correct and proper knowledge of Biotechnology field through our Trianing Institutes, providing
R&D and project undertaking facilities in collaboration with Govt. Aids and Financial
Institues,as our long term plans. To serve Quality with noble welfare is our USP.
The location of our factory/plant will be in CHATTISGARH region itself as the area is suitable
for the cultivation of raw material for Biodiesel production, i.e. JATROPHA as well as its
Central India location will aid us greatly in our supply chain and in time delivery of products
through various transportation means.
WHY BIODIESEL WILL BE OUR CHIEF PRODUCT ?
The main reason of setting this plant is to overcome the crude oil deficiency in INDIA.
According to wealth daily peak oil clock, there is about 30 years remaining for the
depletion of fuel.In our country the ratio of diesel to gasoline fuel is 7:1, depicting a highly
skewed situation. Thus, it is necessary to replace fossil diesel fuel by alternative fuels one of
them being Bio-diesel.
Why should we switch over to bio-diesel?
Bio-diesel is biodegradable, non-toxic, easy to use and free of sulphur, which would be
detrimental to our respiratory system once released into the atmosphere.
It acts as a substitute for the fast depleting fossil fuels (mineral oils), as it is a renewable
source of energy.
It helps exploit wastelands by planting jatropa and other succulent plants. Thousands of
acres of wasteland can be exploited for economic development.

It can reduce unemployment and hence generate breadwinners

Bio-diesel is fatty acid methyl ester produced by trans esterification of vegetable oils and fats
.In this project the vegetable oil is treated with an acid catalyst followed by transesterification
of triglycerides alkaline catalyst
Raw Materials
Jatropha seeds are the main raw material to be used to produce Bio-diesel.
Jatropha plant can be cultivated on barren lands .So agricultural may not be used.
Moreover, utilisation of poultry fats, vegetable scrap oils and Rice Bran is also under
observation to be utilised as for Biodiesel Production.

Capital
Government of Chattisgarh is providing barren land for the cultivation of Jatropha plants. Also
it provides Jatopha fields on lease. Also All the commercial banks are offering finances for such
projects as per their procedure. We are also in process to release Shares,Debentures and looking
for venture capitalists interested in our very plan. The waste removal from locality as stated
earlier on fixed cost to service will aid too us in terms of earned capital plus the dumped
wastage in landsites will too serve the purpose of turning it into fertile land with suitable
production ability and also will
reduce some Pollution ,the major concern of today. So, far our estimations(in Rs./-) are:-

Government Norms

State Govt. is offering Govt. fallow land on very nominal lease for which Notification has
already been issued. The land can be leased out to any Company provided they take up a
composite project involving Jatropha/Karanj cultivation and also setting up of biodiesel plant
of appropriate capacity. The prospective investor is supposed to make a Detailed Project
Report (DPR) and submit it to the Collector of the district where land is to be taken on lease.
Condition of lease
Waste land will be allotted first for 20 years. The State Government may renew the lease after
considering the compliance with the conditions of the lease. necessity of the land in future and
public interest, for a further period of 10 years.
The lease rent shall be as follows:(1)

First Year

Rs. 500/- hectare

(2)

Second to Fifth Year

Rs. 625/- hectare

(3)

Sixth and Seventh Year

Rs. 900/- hectare

(4)

Eight year and afterwards

Rs. 1400/- hectare.

Market
Govt. of India has already declared Biodiesel Purchase Policy wherein any biodiesel producer
can supply biodiesel @ Rs.25/- per litre to public sector petroleum companies. In case of
Chhattisgarh, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation at their Mandir Hasaud Depot will accept
tanker load of biodiesel is already been confirmed.IOCL,Emami & Reliance are upcoming
ones. So, we begin from microscenario towards macroscenario.
Production

Jatropha oil +methanol+sodium hydroxide=Bio diesel

Risk factor
If at any stage our industry faces a loss we would take the help of other industries of same field
and merge with them .Otherwise we will increase our production by growing more Jatropha
plants. We will try to overcome deficits by the profits we earn through our training institutes
and will look for Angel Capitalists(if required).
CHIEF PRODUCTS: Bio diesel Fuel Production
Pure Glycerine (As Soap cakes)
Fatty Acids (as Lubricants)
Waste land utilisation (By Jatropha Cultivation).
Biogas production /Electricity/Manure.
Waste Collection & remediation.
Export of Jatropha seeds to other states(on to do list).
Jatropha utilised for medicinal/anti tumour medicine.
Developing R&D training Centres, seeking towards Bioethanol , Bioperfumes,
Nanobiotechnology etc. and further expansion of our Company will be done as soon as we
achieve positive cash flow i.e. some of our long term goals.
