It is a new year so let's stick to our resolutions to get moving and to get
healthier. Walk in the mall to window shop while you work off those holiday
pounds. Join us for exercise classes. Remember the Bowling leagues start
back up in January so remember to sign up for the Day and the Evening
league. Join us for our annual trek to see the Festival of Ice which showcases
an ice carving competition in Old town St. Charles where artists will be creating ice sculptures right before our eyes as we walk down North Main Street.
Join us for a road trip to Alton Illinois to Eagle watch and have lunch. Join
Shelley for breakfast . Tour the Air Force Wing Museum with us. If you
would like to volunteer, join us at Harvester Christian Church to fill grocery
bags for the food pantry. Feeling lucky then come the Casino to have some
fun. Please be sure to obtain guardian permission for this outing. Go to the
movies and out to lunch with us. Join us for a new game; Petes version of
Family Feud. Start your weekend off with friends, and good food and join
Sherifa for happy hour. Book Club is starting back up after a holiday break so
be sure to look for it on your sign up sheet. Come to Michaels with us to
learn a new craft idea. Tour the Arch and then lunch out with us. Celebrate
everyone born in January with refreshments and entertainment at the Birthday party. Cheer on the Lindenwood Lady Lions as they go up against their
Ice Hockey rival. Start the New Year off right with SAS!

1/20 St. Louis Arch Join us for a day in the city

visiting the Arch Museum. Those that want to
go up in the Arch need to bring $10.00 to pay
for their ticket and remember to bring funds for
lunch out.
1/22 Air Force Wing Museum-This museum is
located at 6390 Grafton Ferry Rd in Portage Des
Sioux, Mo. It is dedicated to the preservation
of WW II aircraft and their heritage. It currently
maintains a B-25 "Mitchell", a TBM "Avenger",
and an L-3 "Grasshopper
1/23 Washers & Wine-Enjoy a fun game of
washers with your friends while sharing snacks.
1/24 Breakfast with Shelley Come and have
breakfast with Shelley. We will meet at the restaurant TBA at 9:00 a.m. Shelley will notify you
which restaurant we will be dining at.
1/29 Book Club Meet Cindy in the Spencer
Library meeting room at 6:30.
1/30 Lindenwood Ice hockey- Cheer on the Lady Lions as they go up against Rochester Institute of Training in Wentzville, MO. Sherifa is
the leader, caller her if you have further questions at 314-302-7155. We will meet at the ice
rink in Wentzville at 6:30. Dress warmly as the
ice arena is pretty cold. Go Lady Lions!
1/31 Festival of Ice on North Main StreetBundle up and meet at the parking lot at the
very north end of Main Street, across from the
Art Foundry and along Riverside Dr, for a stroll
through the annual Festival of Ice. Artists will
have created sculptures from blocks of ice.
1/31 Movie In- The movie is Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb rated PG.
