a deep insight of the pharmaceutical industry and now we are having a much
closer view of the pharmaceutical industry.

Prajapati, who has acquainted us with all the facilities needed by a student while
preparing a project report. We would also express our thanks to our principal Mr.
Nishit bhatt, who has provided his co-operation and friendly support throughout

guidance that we are much comfortable with the Topic.

PREFACE
When every organization ventures out to make its mark in the corporate world, a
refined mantra which dictates is, 'Know thy customer '. Culmination to success
summits materializes when this concept has been assimilated in the veins of its
philosophy and valuable human resources. Indian pharmaceutical industry is an
exemplary icon to today's aspiring industries, which proves that in today's tough
competitive times it is the customer satisfaction, which speaks for every industry.
In the minds of the doctors what matters is the result of the medicines and proper
information about the medicine from the company and of course the relation with
the company. Every industry has to take care that it creates a proper impact with
respect to the global front and that it maintains a competitive position in every
ones mind.
The general objective of this research project is to study the impact of external
forces on the pharmaceutical sector, how it effects its growth ,what are the
features enhancing the performance of pharmaceutical sector and what could be
the steps taken in order to keep the pharmaceutical industry in progress.
The projects aim is to identify factors which induce the pharmaceutical industry to
work efficiently. It also aims to identify the factors, which restrict the industry from
coming up and identifying the fields where the industry is lagging behind. This
project is useful in getting the information about all the related factors effecting
pharmaceutical.
The methodology through which information has been gathered is mainly
secondary data. Data has been gathered from various sources like libraries &
internet.

for millions and providing drugs at affordable prices which are available to the
vast population of this sub-continent"

A Pharmaceutical company is known by the quality of medicines which it

produces. In this scenario of cut-throat competition, Indian pharmaceutical
industry still steers clear from being snubbed & is holding a reputed position in
the market.

This project report speaks about the research done for Pharmaceutical industry

Industry can carve out major opportunities owing to its service and quality that
it is renowned for. Through this report, we have strived to perfect ourselves in
the best possible manner to report our research systematically and ethically.
