adorer are; Sunday noon to 1 pm, Sunday 2-3 pm and Friday night from 9-10 pm. Your help is

tags are for the Elizabeth Ministries, red is for the Community Pregnancy Center and
green is for Family Promise formerly IHN. Please take a tag (or two) you can return
your gifts to the rectory during regular business hours or bring them to Mass the
weekend of December 20 & 21. Please do not wrap the gifts. Lets help those less
fortunate this Christmas Season!

Barberton Area Community Ministries item for the Month of December is Canned Fruit
Barberton Community Kitchen at Lakeview item for the month of December is Deodorant
Thank you again for all your support in helping us serve our brothers and sisters in need. All
donations can be placed in the bench in front of the giving tree in the vestibule of the church. Donations
are picked up on Monday mornings.

St. Augustine Happenings

(Insert Graphic 2404-0067.tif) Coffee and Donuts will be served in the school cafeteria following the
10:30 Mass today, Sunday, December 7. Stop in and enjoy a donut or two while visiting with fellow
parishioners.
Today, Sunday, December 7 is the day that the American Red Cross is in the SAC at St.
Augustine School. The blood drive runs from 9 to 1:00pm. Please consider giving
blood, together we can make a difference. A fun fact: Just seven percent of all people have type O
negative blood.
(Insert Graphic 2303-0010.tif) St. Augustine Mens Fellowship will meet in the School Cafeteria from
7-8:25 am on Saturday, December 13. The topic will be A summary of the Evidence for God from
Science, by Fr Robert Spitzer, PhD. All men of the parish and friends are invited to join us. For

St. Augustine will once again have an Advent Communal Reconciliation Service on Monday,
December 15 at 7:00pm in the church. Numerous priests will be available and you may receive
the sacrament either face-to-face or with a screen in a confessional. All are encouraged to take
part in this special sacrament, please plan accordingly.

Church in Kenmore will be Wednesday, December 17. More information will follow.
Attention Euchre players. Do to the many activities going on in December;
Euchre will be cancelled, cards will resume on January 2, 2014. See you

The Ancient Order of Hibernians will be celebrating a Corporate Communion on
Sunday, December 21 at the 10:30 Mass. The Hibernians are a Catholic Society that
promotes Catholic Irish culture and heritage. Please welcome our Irish Catholic
brothers and sisters to our parish.

Music beginning at 9:15pm on Christmas Eve. Please show your support as we prepare for the
birth of Jesus Christ. We will also be blessed with their voices on Christmas Day at 10:30am. We
have much to be thankful for.

Christmas Flowers. Please note: the memo line was omitted from the envelope. Please write
In memory of. under your address on the front of the envelope, sorry for any
inconvenience. For those using Faith Direct, if you have made a contribution, please drop an
envelope in the offertory basket with the name of your intention or call the office during regular
business hours. To make the flower list, donations must be received no later than December 17.

Christmas Day Dinner. The full meal is served from 1:00-3:00pm on Christmas Day. Anyone
who would like to celebrate with others is invited. As always, lots of volunteers will be needed
as well as financial support and baked goodies. Please consider how you might be a part of this
annual tradition. Share the joy of the Lord through involvement. Please contact Karen Bellett

starting in January. Mark your calendars for January 3,10,17,24, and 31. Munchkins are offered
to St. Augustine Students, both day school and PSR. Registration forms can be found on the
bookrack in the back of the church, in the office at St. Augustine School or you can pull them up
at staugustinebarberton.org. Sign-up is mandatory for this clinic. Forms must be returned to St.
Augustine School before Christmas Break. For more information contact Chris Christoff at 330825-3431.

Only 125 tickets will be sold, ticket prices are $35.00 each with a grand prize of $1000 if all tickets are
sold. Ticket prices include dinner and drinks. Reverse Raffle will be held in the SAC Saturday, February
7, 2015 beginning at 6:00pm. Get your tickets before they are gone!
SAVE THE DATE: Tuesday, February 17, 2015 for the back-by-popular demand
Shrove Tuesday Card Party. Join us for cards, games, good food, raffles and door
prizes. Watch the bulletin for additional information. All men and women are
invited.
The nest issue of Magnifikid is available on the table as you enter the church. This is
a wonderful way for your children and you to have a greater understanding of the
Mass and grow as disciples of Jesusand it is all free through generous donors. Get
your copy while supplies last.
Support religious communities. Your generous contribution helps us to care for our retired
sisters and enables our younger sisters to continue in active ministry, writes a religious sister.
Your gift to todays collection for the Retirement Fund for Religious provides vital support for
the retirement needs of senior sisters, brothers, and religious order priests. It also helps ensure
that younger members can continue the good works of their elders!

will present "The First Noel - Celebrating the Birth of a King" on Sunday December 14 at 3 pm
at Blessed Trinity Parish (300 E. Tallmadge Ave.). All are invited to come to this free concert
and reflect on the true meaning of this holiday season.

Lord and rely on Him for their strength, peace and joy!
