Steps of Making Puppets and Flash Cards:


Puppets :
1. Prepare a manila paper 2meter (1 meter is green, 1 meter is brown) .
2. Fold Manila paper resembles paper bag or folding paper into the beam, but the beam
is closed only on one side.
3. Then create a pattern for style puppets using paper folding / origami. Here the teacher
making puppet shaped a frog and dog. Then the pattern style and color should
resemble a frog and dog.
4. Then cut the patterns and pasted patterns using glue on the paper bag / beam Manila
paper that has been made in accordance with the desired form of puppets.
Flash card :
1. Prepare buffalo papers (6 colors).
2. Draw a rectangle / rectangular 5 x 3 cm on each paper buffalo.

3. Write a topic / situation that shows "expresssion of care" for the dialogue that will be
write by the students, use markers to write on a rectangular image that has been drawn
previously.
4. Cut the buffalo papers according to the pattern that has been drawn.
How to use the media:
Puppets :
Teachers incorporate puppets on his hands. Then the teacher starts to move the
puppets head as the two puppets are in dialogue. Teacher is as the dabber of two puppets
with a different sound. Students listen and pay attention to the dialogue that is being modeled
by the teacher.
Flash cards :
The teacher divides the students into groups. One group consisted of 2 students. Then
the teacher gave a "flash card" containing a dialogue on the topic of each group. The teacher
asks the students to create a dialogue with the group in accordance with the existing topic on
"flash cards" that they get. After the students have finished creating the dialogue, the teacher
asked the students to practice the dialogue they have made as a group in front of the class.
