GLOBALG.A.P V4 INTEGRATED FARM ASSURANCE

The GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) Standard is a pre-farm gate or on-farm standard that covers the certification of the whole agricultural
production process of the product from before the plant is in the ground (origin and propagation material control points) or from when the animal enters
the production process to non-processed product (no processing, manufacturing or slaughtering is covered, except for the first level in Aquaculture).
Course Name: GLOBALG.A.P V4 Module 1
Target Audience: Owners, Senior Farm and Packhouse Management and Technical Advisors
Course Duration: 1 Day
This course focuses on the GLOBALG.A.P general regulations as well as the technical interpretation of the standard at a management level.
Delegates will:
Gain a better understanding of what GLOBALG.A.P is, how it works and the benefits it provides compliant farming enterprises.
Gain an understanding of the requirements of the standard.
Be able to develop and manage systems in accordance with the standard.
Be able to assess compliance of systems.
Course Name: GLOBALG.A.P V4 Module 2

Target Audience: Farm Administrators and Implementers, Junior Farm and Junior Packhouse Management
Course Duration: 2 Days
This course focuses on the administrator/junior manager's role in the GLOBALG.A.P certification process. Detailed administrative and technical
interpretation of the standard will be covered.
Delegates will:
Gain a better understanding of what GLOBALG.A.P is and how it works.
Understand the requirements of the standard.
Develop the administrative management systems in accordance with the standard.
Tesco Nurture
Nurture is an exclusive independently accredited scheme to Tesco. It is dedicated to ensuring all fruit and vegetables are grown to environmental and
responsible standards. Nurture covers all aspects of farming practice, promoting the best agricultural practice in the industry.
Course Name: Tesco Nurture V4 Module 1

This course focuses on the GLOBALG.A.P and Tesco Nurture presenting delegates with an overview on the standards and regulations including technical
interpretation of the standard at a management level.
Delegates will:
Gain a better understanding of the GLOBALG.A.P and Tesco Nurture standards and requirements
Be able to develop and manage systems in accordance with the standards
Junior Farm and Junior Packhouse Management

This course focuses on the GLOBALG.A.P and Tesco Nurture presenting delegates with an overview on the standards and regulations including technical
interpretation of the standard at a implementation level.
Delegates will:
Gain a better understanding of the compliance standards and requirements
Develop the administrative management systems in accordance with the standard
GENESIS
Good Agricultural Practices, or G.A.P, are production and farm level approaches to ensure the safety of fresh produce for human consumption. G.A.P
production and post-harvest guidelines are designed to reduce the risk of food-borne disease contamination on fresh produce. These procedures can be
tailored to any production system and the recommendations are directed toward the primary source of contamination: Soil, Water, Chemicals, Fertilizers,
Hands and Surfaces. Numerous G.A.P protocols have been developed due to consumer and retail concern, as well as the increase in the number of
outbreaks of food-borne diseases resulting in contaminated fresh produce.
The GENESIS GAP standard has been developed for the more advanced small and commercial farms. This standard consisting 99 questions ensures and
covers most G.A.P principles and well as food safety requirements and it is designed to reduce the risk of poor Agricultural Practice and food-borne
disease contamination on fresh produce
Course Name: Genesis Entry and Intermediate Level GAP
Target Audience: Small Farmers, Freshmark Clients
This course focuses on the GENESIS general regulations as well as the technical interpretation of the standard at a management and implementation
level. Delegates will:
Gain a better understanding of what GENESIS is, how it works and the benefits it provides compliant farming enterprises.
