The Massage Therapy National Certificate (Level-2) Examination seeks to assess and determine

whether or not graduates of massage therapy schools in the Philippines can perform in the
workplace based on the defined competency standards. Certification is provided by the Technical
Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) to those who meet the competency
standards.
Course info:
This class is an intensive review of material taught in Swedish (European) Massage and serves to aid the student in
preparation for the National Certificate (Level-2) Examination administered by the Technical Education Skills and
Development Authority (TESDA).
Instructors at Body Options understand there are different styles of learning which are dominant in each participant.
Therefore, a variety of teaching tools and methods are utilized. In addition to lectures, classes are structured to
provide visual aids and hands-on learning.
Entry Requirements / Qualifications:

18 to 60 years of age
Must be a Filipino citizen
2 Photocopies of Certificate of Training in swedish massage

2 Photocopies of High School or College diploma

4 Pieces passport-size pictures (white background with collar)
Scrub suit (blue color), hair net, disposable hand gloves and facial mask
Rubber shoes with white socks
Blood pressure apparatus (aneroid sphygmomanometer and stethoscope)
Digital thermometer
70% Isopropyl alcohol
Massage lubricants (1 vegetable oil, 1 lotion and 1 cream)
2 Large bath towels
Massage bag
Filled-up Competency Assessment Form
