STATEMENT

at

Since graduating I have worked as a Physiotherapist,

Kinesiologist and Physiotherapy Assistant in a clinical
environment. In addition I have varied involvement in
hospital, community settings and with professional/amateur
Scottish soccer teams. As a result of this, I have gained a wide
range of experience including working with a variety of
patient groups ranging from the elderly to more athletic
clientele.
I have a strong interest in applying a psychosocial, clientcentered approach to care, which includes education, handson, exercise based intervention and inter-disciplinary
referrals. Additionally, I conducted Master-level qualitative
research exploring stress in physiotherapy for which I
received an award and top recognition from my university.
