Led the daily operations of a high-volume, municipal golf course employing 50 staff members and full
food and beverage operations.
Grew rounds by 30% year-over-year, while maintaining the average revenue per round.
Implemented a national Get Golf Ready program, which successfully created 100 new
golfers.
Planned a managed a $300,000 clubhouse renovation.

2003 - 2012

Regional Manager, Forest Preserve Golf, Chicago, Illinois (2011 - 2012)


Managed the operations of ten municipal golf courses and one driving range, owned by Cook County and
located in the Chicago area. Supervised a combined total of 500 employees and managed more than
$11M in annual revenue.
Drove improvements in performance and operations. Exceeded rounds played actual
compared to budgeted rounds played. Achieved the highest course utilization since 2007, despite
a general downturn in the industry.
Executed the world largest golf outing, with a record-setting participation of 2400 golfers;
benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project.
Led the Chicago Region to an award-winning level of guest service. The Region received the
ACE Guest Experience Award, with a final average of 98% on our Secret Shopper ratings.

Directed the operations of a portfolio of 16 public, and privately-owned golf courses and country clubs in
Washington, California, and Nevada. Managed a staff of more than 1000 and revenues in excess of $15M.
Developed a comprehensive marketing program and market analysis for each club in the
portfolio and implemented a program to establish their market profiles and optimize market
positioning.
Instituted a legacy program, enabling long-term members to pass his/her membership to a
family-member, ensuring long-term viability of the club.
Grew rounds by 11,000 in 2007, at Summer Meadows, by implementing a low-cost producer
strategy and won large gains in revenue and rounds through aggressive pricing strategies and
lower maintenance costs. Summer Meadows won the companys Course of the Year Award for
2007.

Regional Manager, Forest Preserve Golf, Chicago, Illinois (2003 - 2004)


Selected to manage the operations of a newly-acquired portfolio of 10 municipal golf courses and one
driving range, owned by Cook County and located in the Chicago area. Supervised a combined total of
500 employees and worked closely with Cook County representative to ensure the management contract
was diligently followed.
Doubled the previous years rounds and increased revenue by 64%. Ultimately grew the
volume to 400,000 rounds.
Led the Highland Woods course to win the 2003, Course of the Year Award, among all 85
courses managed by Billy Casper Golf.
Oversaw the development of Stonebridge Golf Course from the construction phase to full
operations
American Golf Corporation, Highland Park, Illinois

General Manager, Highland Park Country Club


Led the transition of this full-service Country Club / Golf Course operation with a club house, and
banquet facilities; along with a restaurant, snack bar, and two bar areas.
Managed several large-scale projects, including a $4M Clubhouse renovation; directly leading
to a $1.6M increase in per-season revenue as an event facility; hosting more than 250 catered
events annually.
Refocused the clubs marketing area to Chicagos more affluent north side, and drew higher
net-worth individuals as a customer base.
Earned the companys first-ever Regional General Manager of the Year Award, from among
55 courses across the country, from Kansas City to the East Coast.
