General Information
Bringing about more transparency and better access to facilities and in a move to cut
the filing time of applications, the Export Promotion Bureau U.P.E.P.B. is implementing a
new system of web-based application that reduces the manual paperwork, effort and
processing time to apply .
The new system is named Online filing of Application System under Different
Promotional Schemes. The purpose of on-line filing of Application System is to collect
uniform requests using the internet technology. Implementing this system will
considerably change the way exporters used to communicate with Export Promotion
Bureau U.P. for Registration and other related matters of Assistance under different
Promotional Schemes.
Under on-line filing of Application System, exporters will put up a request using the
website of Export Promotion Bureau for issuance of New Registration, Renewal of
Registration, application for MDA Scheme, Gateway Port Freight Subsidy Scheme, Air
Freight Subsidy Scheme. This is an integrated software so when exporter gets registered
with EPB and will apply for the promotional schemes such as MDA Scheme, Gateway
Port Freight Subsidy Scheme, Air Freight Subsidy Scheme, he should be linked with
their Registration profile and should be required to give details of expenditures for such
claims only.
Under this integrated software the provisions have been made that Registration shall
be deemed to be valid for one financial year only ending on 31st March of the issuing
year with grace period of 3 months i.e. 30th of June of successive Financial Year and
exporters are to get it renewed within above mentioned grace period by filing on-line
renewal application and in this regard the on-line filing system will generate status and
statistics of Export from Uttar Pradesh regarding formulation of policy of Export
Promotion by virtue of getting annual update of the export returns through renewal of
registration , so that the state will establish a flourishing export data bank.

Instructions Regarding On-line Filing of Application For

Registration/Renewal of Registration as Existing Manufacturer
Exporting Unit/Merchant Exporter with Export Promotion Bureau
Application procedure
Application is to be filed online at UPEPB website www.epbupindia.com duly
filled in along with documents. Before submitting the online application applicant must
ensure that the documents being scanned as attachments, are properly readable.
The scanned copies of the following documents will be needed :1. System generated report of online Application duly signed by authorized signatory
2. IEC number from DGFT.
3. Copy of Bank/C.A Certificate for Annual Export Turnover for Last 3 Financial Years.
4. Bank statement Regarding on-line transaction of fees.
Registration Certificate
The Registration Certificate will be system generated after successful submission of
application with attached documents.
Validity and Renewal of Registration
The Registration shall be deemed to be valid from 1st April of the year of issued
and shall be valid for one year ending 31st March of the issuing year with grace
period of 3 months i.e. 30th of June of successive Financial Year.
For Renewal of Registration the Renewal application should be filled on-line as
given in Appendix-1 with same documents and renewal fee in the same process
mentioned above.
Instructions for Already Registered Exporters
It is to be noted that Exporters who are already registered with UPEPB and their
validity of registration /renewal is existing they are advised to file renewal
application as mentioned above after 31ST March-2014 prior to 31st Juiy 2014 for
annual renewal of their registration in on-line system and allotment of new

registration number, failing which their existing registration will be treated cancelled.

Gold Card and Silver Card

The U.P. Government have made a provision to give VIP status to the Exporters
by issuing Gold Card / Silver Card to them vide G.O. No. 1075/18-4-99-212 (Niryat)/
98T.C Dt. 14-05-1999. The card holder will be provided following facilities from the
U.P. Government:1. Priority in the Government Work.
2. To acknowledge letter within 7 days and disposal of related issues within a month.
3. To give Priority in appointment with senior officials of the Government after public
representatives.
4. The Gold card holder will get entry in U.P. Secretariat without hindrance.
Exporters may send their requisition for Gold/Silver Card to the UPEPB (as per
admissible limit) in the prescribed application form, with required documents.

Getting Started
To make use of the Online Filing of Application System Under Different
Promotional Schemes, please browse the EPB website i.e. www.epbupindia.com

and click on the link Client Area Login which shall route you to the online
application main page.

The Home page provides some important information along with the complete user
manual which is a step-by-step guide to operate the system. It is recommended that
exporters go through the user manual before submitting online request related to
membership.

LOG IN CREATION AND LOGGING IN

Client Area Login link is provided on the home page of the Login
Creation / Login Page.
Steps for login creation.
1. Go to Client Area from www.epbupindia.com home page.
2. Click on either of the menu buttons (as below) to open menu for Login Creation
link

4. Scroll to bottom and click on the blue button Please proceed to create exporter

8. Email address given in the login creation for is very important as all notifications etc.
will be sent here only and this also serves as the username. To validate the given
email address an email will be sent there. This email will also contain the system
generated password and URL to login page. Please click on the provided link to
validate.

9. Click on Profile button on left to view main profile sections or click on Profile
Sections text link provided on right side. Visit each section to fill in all required
details. Visit Dashboard to see the status of profile completion.
Below that, you will also be notified about Incomplete Profile Sections so that
you can fill them. Some profile details like Annual Export Returns, FOB
Values, Products and Countries are to be provided financial year wise.

Once the profile completion status is 100%, click on the EPB Registration link on
the left menu to apply for EPB Registration.
