AUTOMATED REVENUE COLLECTION & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:


The County Government of Kirinyaga is pleased to announce that effective January 1st 2015,
payment of license fees, levies and charges as contained in the Kirinyaga County Finance
Act 2014 for various services provided by the County Government across all sectors will be
payable through an Automated Revenue Collection & Financial Management System.
The Revenue Collection & Financial Management System is GIS (Geographic Information
System) based and integrated with multiple cash and cashless payment channel options
with the following capabilities:
It will provide citizens with convenient and secure payment options for the different
services provided by the County Government of Kirinyaga through the following mediums:
(i)
(ii)
(iii)
(iv)

Mobile Money Mpesa and Airtel Money


Point of Sale (POS) Devices
E-Wallet
Bank Deposits/ Over the Counter payments Partner Bank(s) and Sacco(s)

County Citizens effective January 1st 2015 will now be able to make payments such as
license fees, levies & charges as contained in the Kirinyaga County Finance Act 2014 using
the following channels and additional physical payment locations in the County and
Countrywide:
(i)

Mpesa Pay Bill Number 333-666

(ii)

Deposits & Over the Counter payments at ALL ABC Bank & Fortune Sacco
Branches Country Wide
