Technology

RECTIFIERS
These Battery Charger uses Thyristor switching principle for achieving the desired DC
output. It basically consists of a transformer, a semi conductor bridge rectifier, a filter
circuit and a control circuit.
The AC mains voltage is transformed to a suitable level and fed to the rectifier bridge

which rectifies the AC input and feeds controlled DC output to the battery and load, after

BH

being smoothened by the filter circuit. The power output requirement is adjusted by

using phase control technique which is provided by the control circuit. The feedback
signals from the output to the control circuit are used for maintaining voltage regulation

and current limit.

BH

Advanced Battery Monitoring is an innovative battery monitoring system where power

and system availability are critical to successful business operations. It smartly operates
by preventing costly downtime due to unexpected battery failures.
ABM has been designed to monitor individual cells up to 15V & control the
charge/discharge operations on battery systems ranging from 24V. It is designed for
varied requirements such as stand-alone/networked models.
ABM has been designed to be portable, accurate, reliable, and simple model that is best
suited for all types of Lead-Acid and Ni-Cd battery systems installed at UPS, Power
stations, telecom & industrial applications. It can be left unattended at sites for data
collections (can later be exported for further analysis), or, by its integrated alarm feature
which can assist the user to initiate the charge/discharge cycles.
ABM can monitor & log various battery parameters like voltage, current and temperature
at programmed intervals. ABMs are configured to a single-point access for thousands of
units located in remote sites anywhere in the world.

GENON Batteries are recommended

to use where EB power not available,
Ex: Construction sites, Telecom
sites in remote area etc.
DG auxiliary loads will be on battery
only, battery state of charge depends
on auxiliary loads and DG running
frequency to get battery charge.
GENON battery charged through
alternator, DG required to run
periodically for battery charging.
Always ensure alternator O/p voltage
shall be at 140.2V
Un regulated / high voltage from
alternator may lead to irreversible
damage to the battery.
The
XCELL
is
having
more
advantages as compared to the
Conventional and GENON batteries.
Always it is better to offer XCell where
ever 230V, AC Power supply is
available.
(E.g:
Industry,
residential
appartments
and
commercial
complexes etc.)
GENON PLT SMF batteries can be
offered where ever 230V, AC Power

is
not
available.
