John 16:24 (Until now you have asked nothing in my

name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be
full.)
To ask in his name means to ask in his authority and on his merit
Just as the Father answered Jesus' every prayer, so he will
answer you when you ask in Jesus' name

John 15:7 (If you abide in me, and my words abide in


you,ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you)
You are praying and asking God to grant you the grace to
continue to remain a part of the VINE for you acknowledge that
you are nothing (a useless branch) outside the VINE.

1 John 5:14-15 (14 And this is the confidence that we have


toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he
hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we
ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of
him.)
You are praying and asking God to grant you the grace to know
and understand his will

His will

Jer 33:3 (Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you
great and hidden things that you have not known.)

You are praying and asking God to grant you the boldness to call
on him through prayer

Phil 4:6 -7 (6 do not be anxious about anything, but in


everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known to God.7 And the peace of
God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your
hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.)
You are praying and asking God to give you a thankful heart.
You are praying and asking God to help you to allow His peace to
keep your heart and mind in Christ after praying

James 4:3 (You ask and do not receive, because you ask
wrongly, to spend it on your passions.)
You are praying and asking God to help you pray always for the
right reasons

Prov. 28:13 (Whoever hides their sins will not be successful,


but whoever confesses their sins and stops doing wrong will
receive mercy.)
You are praying and asking God to help you to be honest and
humble in admitting your sins before Him

Luke 11:8 (I say to you, though he will not rise and give to
him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he
will rise and give him as many as he needs.)
You are asking God to help you to be persistent in prayer.

Mark 11:22-24 (22And Jesus answered them, Have faith in


God.23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this
mountain,Be taken up and thrown into the sea, and does not
doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to
pass, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever
you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it
will be yours.)
Mark 9:24 (Immediately the father shouted, I do believe.
Help me to believe more!)
You are praying and asking God to help you believe and safe you
from doubting Him
