Wellhead gas compression

for marginal gas applications

More gas, lower operating cost

Low-pressure marginal gas is important. But providing econmonic wellhead compression for marginal gas wells can
be a challenge. You need a compressor that requires little or no maintenance, runs quietly and is the right size for
the job. You need a Copeland Scroll compressor. Copeland Scroll modular compression is an exceptionally low
maintenance, compact, rugged new approach to oilfield gas compression. The scroll compressor module comes
equipped with many high quality features typically found only on larger oilfield compression packages. Packaged
flow rates are 15-600 mcfd and discharge pressures vacuum to 345 psig.

Copeland Scroll compressor features

Ultra low maintenance for remote sites Copeland Scroll
technology is designed for once per year planned maintenance. (Gas quality can effect maintenance frequency.)
Modular and variable flow design offers unique flexibility
operators can easily scale compression horsepower to
match the flow and pressure requirements for each well.
Reduces grossly oversized compression packages and
lengthy shutdowns for change-out as gas flows change.
Low noise levels with the quietest sound levels in the
industry, Copeland Scroll compression is ideal for even the
most environmentally sensitive areas.
Full bypass capability avoid the labor cost and lost
production of compressor shutdowns due to downstream
pipeline disruptions. Copeland Scroll compression can run
in 100% bypass 24/7 without the need to shutdown and
can be set for auto restart.

Maximizing recovery from mature fields

Low horsepower wellhead compression has emerged as a
popular approach for increasing production from declining
wells. Because of the large number of low rate wells, and the
increasing shortage of field technicians, small wellhead gas
compression packages must be very low maintenance to be
considered viable. Copeland Scroll compressors can help
you enhance well production, lower operating costs and
maximize reserve recovery.
