Figure 1 shows the number of students decision making in taking up nursing course.
A total of (60) respondents of nursing students answered no with a total of (28).
Slightly lower than those answered no, nursing students answered yes with a total of (24), while
others have (8) respondents. Clearly stated that those who answered no that parents or guardians
has the largest contribution in a student's decision making.
The data seem to discuss that most of the nursing students do not take part in
their decision making in taking up nursing course. Parents or guardians might demand them to
take nursing course preferably, for them nursing course offers different job opportunities.
Significant others such as brother or relatives may possibly influence them. For this reason, this
might become a difficulty for the nursing students to continue their course because it is not the

course they want. This can also lead to poor socialization with the nursing students isolation
with other students.

Figure 2 shows the Number of students experience difficulty in the Nursing Course
A total of (60) respondents of nursing students, the highest tally casted, answer of
yes with a total of (48). Three times lower than those answered yes, nursing students answered
no with a total of (12). Clearly, those who answered of yes outnumbers by 80% than those who
answered no with 20% only.
The data seems to discuss that Nursing students really experience difficulty in
their course. Mainly, nursing is a course where skills are used to give care to the patient. The
difficulty of the students may also vary in their time management. There are also possibilities
that Nursing students has conflict with time and studies because of the duties. On the other hand,
no is three times lower the score of those who answered yes, may be in their case, they manage
well their time and concentrate in their studies. The other way around, those who answered no
might mean no interest in their studies, that for them, they do not much think of their grades.
Taken as a whole, those who answered no might have the higher chances of getting honours and
awards.

Table 3 shows the difficulties of nursing students in their course.

A total of 60 respondents of nursing students, the highest tally that most of the
nursing students find difficulty is grades with (40). School activities and financial problem have
the same result which is (8). Others is the least reasons that is not given in the survey has a total
of (4). In a decreasing manner of results, clearly that grades commonly affect students. Four
times higher compared the three reasons. The School activities and Financial problem are twice
higher than other. The grades has a great impact in the difficulties in nursing when contrasted
with school activities, financial problems and others such as involvement of extracurricular
activities and involvement of organizations outside the school premises.
The data seems to discuss the discrepancy of the reasons with the student's that
most likely find difficulty. Grades is the highest result and four times higher than the remaining
three. This can probably mean that grades affects the mentality of the students. In many ways,
students would seem to feel tiring and stressed with the requirements following up with their
studies and duties. Grades commonly affect if one is not serious enough to handle the course.
Grades also bids the highest result compared from school activities and financial problem may

because of only few nursing students are active in the school organizations that participate in out
of town. While for financial problems, this may mean that parents can afford to pay tuition but
they cannot give high allowance. Others such as extracurricular activities such as sports, fitness
and involvement of organizations outside the school campus are the lowest result. These
probably mean that there are few nursing students engage in this kind of activities. In an
overview, those who are concentrated much in their studies can have higher chances of getting
high grades while those who are affected with this kind of difficulties that does not involve with
the studies such as relationships and family problems might hinder a student's mental, emotional
and social factors. In totality, grades with least chance almost certainly help students reach high
marks due to stress and pressure by the teachers.

A total of (60) respondent of nursing students, the highest outcome of the tally
answered yes with (36). A difference of 12 in the nursing students answered no with a total of
(24). Mainly, those who answered of yes outnumbers by 60% than those who answered no with
40% only. Most of the nursing students want to go abroad.

The data seems to discuss the most of the students wants to go abroad because of
the high salary and good living compared here in the Philippines. There are a lot of opportunities
abroad rather here in the Philippines. The anomaly in this data is that those who answered yes are
20% higher compared to those who answered no. It can be attributed that there would be increase
of nursing students who would not like to go abroad, may be due to the economy, state of living,
lack of experience, and for in the middle-east part there is war. Some also chose to stay and
continue for schooling, may be because nursing is a pre-medicine course.
5. Do you have the assurance that you will be hired directly in hospital, health centres or any

A total of (60) respondents of nursing students, the highest tally results, answer of
no with a total of (32). Almost reach the same for the results with the answer no, nursing students
answered yes with a total of (28). Clearly, those who answered no is the larger by 53% than
those who answered yes with 47% only.

The data seems to discuss that most of the nursing students would not be directly
hired in hospitals probably the hospital or health facilities has enough man-power nurse. Fresh
graduates could be a difference for the employer to chose may due to lack of experience in the
medical field. The choice of the nursing students can be attributed to their foundation and skills
and with accordance to their knowledge. Some of the nursing students would rather find another
area or field for them to work such as call centres, teachers or perhaps take master course to
widen their knowledge in nursing. Those who answered yes seems to nearly reach the results of
those who answered no because of the their confidence that they will be directly hired. This fact
will alter may be due to those who have connection with family members or relatives that might
help one nurse to be employed. One can be directly acquired if one has the full capability,
competence, and is skilled nurse. The chances to go abroad needs to have a deep experience in
the medical field may almost certainly because of the technology used. Draper (2011)Nurses
practice in a wide range of settings, from hospitals to visiting people in their homes and caring
for them in schools to research in pharmaceutical companies. Nurses work in occupational health
settings (also called industrial health settings), free-standing clinics and physician offices, nurseled clinics, long-term care facilities and camps.

Table 6 shows the contrast on the works of nursing students

A total of 60 respondents of nursing students, the highest result is to study lesson
(32) rather than to be on duty. Almost reach the same as with the results in studying lessons, to
be on duty (28) is the other contrast with the works of students that is tedious to do. The results
to study lessons are more numerous than with the results on to be on duty with a difference of
53% to 47%.
The data seems to discuss that most of the nursing students find difficulty in
studying rather to be on duty may be because of there are many particular things to memorize
and familiarize. They are exhausted from their duties which might lead to poor absorption of
lessons and leanings during school days. The outcomes form a student may be in a form stress
and anxiety. The results from the survey describes that to be on duty 6% lower than with the
other result. Nursing students most at most certainly think that although to be on duty is far more
tiring than work but it is a sacrifice for them. To be on duty is to explore new thing, learn new
lessons, deepen their knowledge in the field of medical procedures. To be on duty also promotes
one to develop their performances in providing care to the patients. Kubler (1969) stated that
nursing primarily gives care to the ill, sick and distress. Learning from actual experience or
hand-on experience rather than memorizing might be useful for the nursing students. Sometimes
studying lessons can be forgotten what the student memorized while on the other hand
application of learning would seem better probably this will learning will be used. But in totality,
studying lessons and theories might would correlate with to be on duty to practice their medical
procedures because theories and procedures work interchangeably.
