The 2015 INSPIRE-GWF conference offers the opportunity to submit proposals for abstracts of
presentations which will be delivered in thematic sessions, posters or for workshops.
In terms of content, presentations given in sessions or the outcomes of workshops shall
contribute to the general scope of the conference. Below are some of the proposed themes for
abstracts and workshops.

With regard to 'the technologies and standards necessary to acquire, process, distribute,
use, maintain, and preserve spatial data', presenters or workshop proposals should
cover:
A second category of presentations and workshops can focus both on the requirements of
public sector policies and/or the private sector for data, information and services, and on
demonstrations and reports of user practices.
For requirements
Present the scope and objectives of using geospatial infrastructures & technologies
Describe the geospatial and other relevant data and information policies and coordination frameworks in place to support the practice, their strengths and weaknesses.
Describe the types of geospatial data used, how they are organized and managed.
Describe the type of standards and technology solutions implemented to share data and
information with the eventual different user stakeholder communities.
Document the added value in terms of efficiency and effectiveness through using
geospatial infrastructures where possible
Comment on major hindrances and shortcomings of geospatial technology and
infrastructures and possible ways to overcome them.
