MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 04-2013

APPROVING THE UPDATING AND RENEWAL OF THE
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) BETWEEN THE
LOCAL GOVERNMENT OF GUINOBATAN AND THE RURAL
BANK OF CAMALIG (RBC) REGARDING THE EXISTING
IMPLEMENTATION OF GROUP ACCOUNTS LOAN PROGRAM
BEING OFFERED AND AVAILED OF BY LGU EMPLOYEES.
Proponent/Sponsor: Committees on Laws, Rules & Oversight
and Good Government
WHEREAS,
the
Rural Bank of Camalig and the Local Government of
Guinobatan had been consistently maintaining close ties
with regard the implementation of the so-called Group
Accounts Loan Program, among others, being offered by
the bank in favour of qualified LGU employees;
WHEREAS,
said Program has consistently provided the much
needed assistance in times of great financial needs and
unforeseen
emergencies/exigencies
being
experienced/undergone by said LGU employees. Thus,
such Program is believed by this august body to be
necessary, beneficial and practical;
WHEREAS,
in order to further promote and enhance the terms
of such loan program and at the same time prompt the
parties concerned with their respective roles and
responsibilities, for the mutual benefit of the bank on one

hand, and the LGU employees on the other, its updating

and renewal is but essential;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of
Guinobatan, Albay in session assembled, to approve as it
hereby Approves the Updating and Renewal of the
Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Between the Local
Government of Guinobatan and the Rural Bank of Camalig
(RBC) Regarding the Existing Implementation of Group
Accounts Loan Program Being Offered and Availed of by
LGU Employees.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the said updated Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA) is made an integral part of this
Resolution and hereto attached and marked as Annex A,
with slight modification as to the authorized signatories on
the part of the LGU, by maintaining it to the two
signatories, namely: the Municipal Mayor and the
Municipal Treasurer, and to the exclusion of an additional
one, the Municipal Accountant.
RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this resolution be
furnished the Office of the Municipal Treasurer, the Rural
Bank of Camalig, and such other concerned office/s or
agency/ies, for their information and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY, on motion of Councilor Robert M.
Baaga and duly seconded by the members present this
11th day of February, 2013 during their 6th Regular
Session.
