Project: Supplier Portal

Client Description: The Endo Supplier portal is designed to facilitate interaction between
suppliers and the purchaser. This portal enables the purchaser to convey their requirements of

the suppliers and the latter to supply items likewise. The users and supplier can view different
types of reports about suppliers, items they supply, inventory status etc. The portal also
enables the users and suppliers to track any aberration in terms of quality, cost and timeliness
of delivery. The purchaser and supplier can also view their performance over a month, in the
form of a scorecard.
Data is populated in the warehouse using ETL tool Informatica 8.6. Data
transformation/cleansing are done and data is loaded into the warehouse.
Responsibilities:

Created Informatica mappings to build business rules to load data. Most of the
Transformations were used like the Source qualifier, Aggregators, lookups, Filters,
Update strategy, Sorter, Sequence Generator etc.

Extracting, transforming and loading data from oracle and placing it into data
warehouse.

Development of Mappings and Mapplets using Informatica Power Center.

Created Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows, and mapplets.

Constructed various dimension tables using SCD Type-1 and SCD Type-2.

Client Description: Markdown data is transferred between PERM, SAS and Stores during the
MDO (Mark down Optimization) process. Since the PERM users have the ability to make
modifications to the clearance data after the soft lockout, data integrity issues have been
observed in the past. The module on Data Audit and Control helps logging such instances. The
objective Is to Audit the markdown data between Price files from SAS and Perm data after Edit
Pricing to ensure all candidates in the event have been updated with accurate SAS optimized
discounts in Perm.
Responsibilities:

Developed ETL mappings using Informatica Power Center.

Involved in developing the mappings using needed transformations like Expression,

lookup, joiner, Update strategy transformations etc.

Involved in creating the sessions and workflows to the requirements.

Involved in testing the mappings whether mappings are meeting the business rules or
not.

Implemented mappings to load data to SCD Type 1 and SCD type2 Dimensions.

technology services. Cisco EDW is mainly a Oracle Data warehouse, which stores the Revenue, HR,
Bookings And GL data. As the volume of data is increasing day by day, we use to store historical
business data in consolidated data warehouse. We are maintaining History and Incremental
information of entities as per the requirement of downstream applications. Jobs are automated
through $U.
