3.0 Agenda Items

3.1 The Mayor and City Council shall review items on the Regular City Council meeting agenda for January
19, 2010.

3.2 The Mayor and City Council shall hear reports on meeting and/or conferences attended by Council.

3.3 The Mayor and Council shall hear a presentation by Transit Coordinator Kellee Kelley on Section 5311 –
Rural Public Transportation Grant.

3.4 The Mayor and City Council shall hear a presentation by Transit Coordinator Kellee Kelley and CivTech
Project Manager Dawn Cartier on the Transit Feasibility Study Update.

3.5 The Mayor and Council shall hear an update from Anthony Snider and Tim Tyrell regarding the current
progress and plans for completion of the Tourism Study by the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce.

3.6 The Mayor and City Council shall hear a presentation regarding possible amendments to the Council
Strategic Plan and an update from staff on progress regarding Strategic Plan Goals and Objectives.

The Mayor and City Council may discuss the following items that may be on a future Council
agenda

There are no future council agenda items for discussion scheduled.

4.0 Executive Session

4.1 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for purpose of obtaining legal advice from the
City’s attorney and to consider its position and instruct representatives regarding negotiations for the
purchase, sale or lease of real property pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3) and (A)(7).

4.2 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for the purpose of discussion or consultation
with the City’s attorneys to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the City’s position
regarding entering in to an intergovernmental agreement and the potential terms thereof with the
Maricopa Domestic Water Improvement District pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3) and (A)(4).

4.3 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for the purpose of discussion or consultation
with the City’s attorneys to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the City’s position
regarding entering into a development agreement and the potential terms thereof with Eagle Shadow,
LLC pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3) and (A)(4).
 4.4 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for the purpose of discussion or consultation
with the City’s attorneys to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the City’s position
regarding entering into a development agreement and the potential terms thereof with KDJJ
Enterprises Inc. pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3) and (A)(4).

4.5 The Maricopa City Council may go into executive session for the purpose of discussion or consultation
with the City’s attorneys to consider its position and instruct its attorneys regarding the City’s position
regarding the Global Water – Palo Verde Utilities Co, et al. rate case [SW-20445A-09-0077 et al.]
pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03 (A)(3).
