1 Murid1Sukan1Malaysia Senamrobik & Sukantara
There was no academic session was held this morning as there were two events organised by
the school. At 8 oclock, 1 Murid 1Sukan 1 Malaysia Senamrobik started and it was planned
by the Ministry of Education (MOE). Amazingly it was organised and began simultaneously
across Malaysia in all government schools as well as teaching training colleges. I was chosen
as one of the instructors for the event. Honestly it was such a pleasure to get this position
however obviously I was a bit worried as there was no practice at all. What I needed to do is
just simply follow the videos received from the MOE. I think this event is a good start for the
people to practice good and healthy lifestyles as keeping ourselves fit and doing exercising
will protect our body from the deadly diseases.
Then as the senamrobik ended, the athletics sport was conducted by the teachers. I could see
all the pupils were very enthusiastic to win the race. Some of the athletics sports were 200
metres, 4 X 200metres and high jumps for both genders. At that time I could see all the pupils
were very energetic and enthusiastic to gain some points for their sports house. This is the
spirit that we would like to see among new generations which is high competitiveness in a
healthy way.

Temasya Sukan Tahunan Kali ke-52
This morning was the day for the big event which was the Sports Day. I could see all the
pupils were very excited and eager to support their team members who were participating in
the matches. At 8 oclock in the morning, all pupils were instructed to be assembled at the
assembly area according to their Sports House such as Jentayu, Kasawari, Kenyalang and
Rajawali. All of them were ready to go for a marching representing for each Sports House
soon and they were looking forward towards it.
Even though at the beginning if the event, there was a minor problem with the PA system,
however the teachers managed to overcome the problem professionally and this is what I
learnt the most. Sometimes things that we have planned perfectly beforehand may
unexpectedly turn out to be not very well when the day comes, therefore we need to be
mentally prepared and at least plan a backup plan ahead by considering all the possibilities
that may have come so that we will not easily lose our control, temper and rationality.
Alhamdulillah, in the end everything went smoothly despite some minor problems occurred
during the event was held. I as one of the participant coordinators was very grateful to Allah
as I managed to work on it pretty well even though that was my first time dealing with this
job. With the help and support from other teachers it became one of my best experiences ever.
Through this, at least I gain some useful knowledge on how to assemble pupils according to
their matches and get them prepare during the Sports Day. By then, I may not have any
problems to do this job in school where I will be posted later on.

Open Day SKAI 2012
This morning an Open Day was held from 8.30 am until 12 oclock in the afternoon. It was
organised by the school and basically this event was to allow parents or carers to meet the
teachers in order to consult any information about their children in school. I think this event
actually promotes a good rapport not only between teachers and pupils but also to build a
strong positive relationship among teachers and parents. However sadly, there were some
parents or even carers were not attending the event and when I asked some of my Year 4
pupils, they told me that their parents were very busy with their work. It made wonder was
that the best excuse the parents could do? I think this is might be one of the reasons why the
pupils are misbehave in school and not even bother to perform well as their parents are not
even bother to get to know about what their children are doing in school.
