3.4.

HEAD ADJUSTMENT
The head is delivered already adjusted for the type of closure ordered by the
Customer and does not require further adjustment. If necessary, carry out a
new adjustment by following the operations described below.

3.4.1.

Remove the head from the


machine as described in para
graph 3.3. on page 63.

3.4.2.

ADJUSTING THE THREAD


ING ROLLER
Using the wrench (13), loosen
the grub screws (M) in order to
free the bush (N).

Using the wrench (5) screw or


unscrew the bush (N) in order to
bring the threading roller (O) to
the height of the adjuster pad
surface (8).

For a further delicate adjust


ment, when provided, it is neces
sary to screw or unscrew the
bush (N) of n/6 of angle as
described in Head calibration
table.
EXAMPLE:

THREADING ROLLER SIDE


LOADING ADJUSTMENT
When the cap thread is excessively
pressed and the metal is cut in some
points, proceed as follows:

the nut (S).

a sufficient incision is obtained.

Repeat the same operations for


the remaining threading rollers.

ADJUSTING THE SKIRTING


ROLLER
Using the wrench (13), loosen
the grub screws (U) in order to
free the bush (V).

Using the wrench (5) screw or


unscrew the bush (V) in order to
bring the skirting roller (W) to
the height of the adjuster pad
surface (8).

For a further delicate adjust


ment, when provided, it is neces
sary to screw or unscrew the
bush (V) of n/6 of angle as
described in Head calibration
table.
EXAMPLE:
